[ last time he posted anything, he was a nervous wreck and kind of nauseous. the changes the past two months have left in him are impossible to miss; winn is smiling, upbeat, and almost comfortable. the nervous energy that is there has more to do with his addressing a bunch of strangers than the constant fear of death by space-stuff that overshadowed his first feed. ]

Hi, if we don't know each other - I'm Winn Schott. If we do know each other...I'm still Winn Schott - [ shaking his head, why hasn't he learned from the last time? prepare a script! ]

Anyway! I've been here for a couple months now, and it's been interesting - and I mean that in the original sense of the word. Think about it - not only are we in outer space [ there's only a slight wince at that, and even a lot of excitement. space is terrifying - but it's also really cool ] - but we have a once in a lifetime opportunity to reach across the multiverse and learn things that haven't even been dreamed up in our worlds yet. I've been learning - a ton from just casually talking to people, but there is a much better way to do this if we all cooperate, [ open source. it's the way of the future! ] and I know I'm not the only one out there who's interested!

So, I've got a suggestion for anyone who thinks that's really cool - and - pity for anyone who doesn't [ and by pity, he means judgment. he gestures excitedly with his hands as he introduces his brilliant concept ] - 2016: A Space-Time Odyssey - a series of free weekly lectures about anything and everything we've got here. Talks about different worlds, science, history, art lessons, concerts - I know we've got some musicians here - basically anything anyone signs up to talk about, teach, perform, or however you communicate things where you're from. Since we don't have a lecture hall we can broadcast the talks - give ourselves a fun routine....and if that doesn't work for someone, I can post the notes I'm so gonna take of all of these. Who's in? Who wants to go first?

If this is an "you are what you eat" thing then shouldn't you be salty instead? Or are you more powdered donuts and less chips?

Pretty much everything's got some sugar in my world, wouldn't be surprised if salt was half corn syrup too. [ he nods. though he's got his share of salt too, he just hasn't had too many reasons to show kitty that side of himself yet. ]

Don't worry, I've loaded up on enough to last me about a 100 years on these protein thingies.

[ occasionally he thinks about it - how his body's already changing here without his terrible 21st century diet of take out, snacks, and cereals, with regular exercise with kitty and maybe someday some less regular but more traditional exercise with kirk...maybe by the time he gets home he won't have to be that jealous of james anymore.

for now the only real change he's feeling though is needing a haircut. ]

Good. I wouldn't want your sweet to run out. [She sneaks a quick kiss and doesn't look all that concerned that it might actually run out. And then there is just fond smiling at him and brushing back that hair he wants to change.]

[ is it change if it's to turn back to its normal state? he just has the sneaking suspicion that he's not going to pull off the long flowing locks look.

he returns the kiss, and leans into her hands. ]

We're safe, if it ever comes to it, I can charge up on bad knock off cola. [ oh and kitty. she brings all the sweetness out of him. ]

A man with a plan. [A pause as she smiles.] For everything.

It's the nerd creed, plan for all eventualities, no matter how far-fetched.

What a weird and only occasionally useful creed. [She smiles softly.]

So, how is the class thing going? Do you have some good ones lined up? Meet anyone fun and new?

That's somewhere in there too.

[ he nods. ]

Oh yeah, I've got some great ones - I got two about magic, and actually a lot of science - [ he's excited, you probably couldn't tell from the way he practically bounces, the huge smile, or the actual twinkling in his eyes, so I thought I'd point it out to you. ]

Fun. [She likes seeing him so energized.] And who are giving these talks?

[ he has a lot of projects out of desperate necessity - saving kitty's life, getting kara her powers back - but this one is a project of sheer enjoyment, and one that won't even require so much effort on his part. it's very energizing. ]

Magic - Loki and Hermione, science I got Hank, Charles, and Beverley so far, and I'm gonna rope Cisco into it too. [ space nerdbro doesn't get a choice, he's already in. ]

[She approves of education even if she feels under-qualified to give it sometimes.] Is it concerning that I already know every single one of those people? [Did she become a social butterfly?]

No, but that I met them without being introduced might be -

[ he's too awkward to become a social butterfly, what is happening here, he's gotten to know more people here and much better than he has in years working at catco. ]

You were introduced to Hank. My lips were just attached to you at the time.

Yeah, it's very hard to care about other people when you do that.

[ he leans in for another kiss. ok, he cared, he cared about how uncomfortable kara was, he cared about how seeing hank unexpectedly would affect kitty, he cared about how the impression he made on the guy would influence his relationship with kara, that's been taking so many odd and unexpected hits lately - it's like they can't properly get back into sync. well, that last one at least stopped being a concern pretty fast, it kind of feels like he and hank were separated at birth.

and, kara brought him in but they kinda introduced themselves! so it half counts! ]

Oh no, I must have a secondary mutation with empathy absorbing powers. [Kissing back and draping her arms over his shoulders.]

Mmmhmmm - [ he hums his agreement into the kiss, burying a hand in her hair. it's just so nice to play with. ] You have so many secondary mutations I'm starting to suspect you're really Kryptonian.

Kurt has a few different unrelated powers. It happens. Fully earthling. [This works out so well because she likes when he plays with her hair.]

So where's the tipping point? 5 superpowers? 10?

[ funny how that works out. ]

[Kissing his cheek.] Mm, 4 and a half. Anything above that and the only explanation is Kryptonian.

What counts as half a power?

Wow. I thought you were a sidekick expert. I guess I had you pegged wrong. [This is where she doesn't know either.]

Kryptonians don't have half-powers, they're an all-or-nothing species.

[ it might be time to use that super-shutting-winn-up power. ]

[She could, but she likes it when he rambles sometimes.] Now you're an expert on Kryptonians?

Wouldn't be much of a sidekick if I weren't -

[ he's spent a lot of time observing kara, and thinking about her powers. ]

[Oh, is that what he was thinking about?] And we all know you're good at anything you do.
