[It's rare that anyone other than him does any cooking in the Starstruck kitchen and it's a strangely territorial instinct that draws him in to investigate. He still can't claim to be an expert but, unlike his early days in the fleet, he can at least claim he's been trying. Sometimes. When he can be bothered.

He doesn't actually say anything. Instead, he wanders over to the stove, passing a skeptical eye between the stove and the man's hair which, yes, he has also noticed]
