...I don't know. He just pulled it out of the fridge. [ Sascha didn't even think to question where it came from. He just sort of put it in his mouth. ]

Are there actually animals and stuff on the moon?? I thought it was too dirty...

I don't know... I haven;t been down there that much, honestly, when I need to get out of here I go to the Iskaulit.

Oh! That's what Bigby and do-- [ Oh wait whoops right the gauze. Sascha picks that up again and...yep looks right at that deliciously red plastic tube. A younger Sascha would have tried to eat it and the blood instead.

I'm sorry, I didn't mean... [ To stare like he'd just love to gnaw off Ramse's entire arm. He has more self-restraint than that, it's just that he's still reeling from actually being given the offer as he hastily holds up the gauze, determined to stare a hole into the bedding instead of Ramse's arm. ]

[ He softens his voice; he didn't mean it that way. ]

[ The needle's out and he bends up his elbow around the gauze to hold it in place while he takes care of the tube, careful not to drip blood anywhere but the kit. And now Sascha's just holding a thermos of fresh blood. ]

Go ahead, I'll get rid of this.

Are you sure...? I can help! [ He's not so starved for a bit of blood that he can;t control himself long enough to be of use, surely. Maybe he just wants to prove it to himself. ]

--Okay! [ It's something, which is better than nothing. And he can put the thermos down without even casting a glance at it, look at that! He does have strength of will. ]

[ Well okay then whatever makes you happy! Ramse leads the way to the lab, where biohazards mysteriously disappear from the bin. ]

[ Man, you know? Sascha's never been inside a lab before. not even the one on his own ship, because the signs on the door usually keep him out.

And it stinks of chemicals usually to, but you know. Entering here has him wrinkling his nose a little and sticking close to Ramse's side, squinting behind his shades. ]

The lab? We mostly use it for medical things... Meathead gets hurt a lot.

One of my crewmates -- he didn't tell us his real name, and that's what Ahsoka calls him. I guess it kinda stuck.

[ Yes, yes, please and thanks. Sascha's only to happy to follow after him--Ramse dos smell like fresh blood after all. And now that they're talking about it he can't help but wonder about this "meat" guy too. ]

[ They get back to his room and Ramse closes the door, dropping his arm and checking that the needle hole isn't still bleeding. ]

I don't think he'd let you lick him, fortunately or unfortunately.

...Can I lick you? [ Just in case that wound is still bleeding, you know. This is a totally normal request. ]

[ But he holds out his arm, with the little speck of blood on the inside of his elbow. ]

[ Honestly? He expected a Look and a hard "no," so when he gets the opposite of that Sascha's actually a little stunned. He blinks, straightens, gets as close as he ever does to flushing, and swallows. ]

R--really??? [ Nevermind that Ramse is already holding his arm out. It's almost too good to be true and he just needs to be sure even if his hands are already raised like he just wants to latch onto him. ]

[ It's a little weird, but Sascha had the nerve to ask so Ramse isn't going to deny him something so simple. ]
