Everything is decided on quickly: does it fit him? Is it comfortable? Clothes are divided into two stacks, the yeses and nos, and he comes out back in his jumpsuit with the yes stack over his arm. It's bigger than the no stack that he hangs on the rack for the shopkeepers to put away. ]

I mean, I've always been awkward, but on Krypton I was pretty sheltered.

When I got to Earth, though, I was nothing but weird. Earth had so many things that Krypton never had, like birds. And poor Alex was stuck with me asking her what everything was. The first time they turned on the popcorn machine I hid under the table and she had to coax me out.
