[Komaeda hasn't ever been somebody prone to staying in one place for long without good reason, so any current members of the crew are likely to find a fuzzy-headed high-schooler rummaging in cabinets, looking around corners, checking out vents and their view angles, and testing the strength of doors versus being broken down.

[ Yeah, no. There's a whole introduction jingle and confetti and pudding and it is completely obvious that someone's here so Chris is just kind of trying to follow imaginary footsteps to see where they've gone. It takes him a minute but eventually he finds the curious kid. ]

[Varric stumbles in on him almost literally. He knew there was a new arrival-- there's always confetti and dumb bullshit accompanying those broadcasts-- but he's not expecting the kid to be halfway in a cabinet.]

[Komaeda wriggles his way back out of the cabinet, flicking Varric a surprised look. He ruffles his hair back into shape from where the cabinet mussed it (maybe? it's hard to tell), giving a politely embarrassed laugh.]

Oh, no, just looking around to get a feel for the area. It doesn't hurt to know if there are any hidden passages or trick panels, after all.

Please excuse me if this sounds rude, but when you say 'human,' do you mean that you aren't? [Komaeda is not only a teenaged boy, and thus rail-thin, but is also almost six feet tall. There is... a height difference in this conversation.]

But if one of them becomes ill, the crew is still equipped to look after their sick, right? Having backup roles like that can be helpful.
