[If anyone ever had a doubt that Tyrion Lannister likes to keep himself occupied, today would be the day that he put all doubts to rest. His fingers flick against the side of his camera as he is reaching for a book. Which is good, because he's got three open now. He frowns at one paragraph, then pushes off with his chair - with wheels, fascinating things these.

Then he was picking up a screwdriver, turning to a tank that looked a great deal like the displays at the Green Museum, twisting a brace into place, eying it, then rolling back across the floor to check on the panels for the engine. He picked up a clipboard, put down the screwdriver and exchanged it for pencil while he marked off a few things on a list, then pushed himself off to roll back to his desk, where he flipped a page on his second book, muttering quietly to himself.]

[He tapped the page, then pushed off again to his work-table, where a variety of weapons were lying on the surface, and plucked up the bow.] Yes, all right, that means I just need to change the density of the string and curve the bow a little more for the right amount of pressure per inch... good, good.

[He hummed as he put the bow back down, and reached underneath for his toolbox, singing softly to himself as he went through the varying strings he had gathered for said bow.]

[Clearly, Tyrion is something of a workaholic, when he gets himself going.]

So ... you have some sort of special gift, like Kitty? Or are you physically different, like myself? [Because otherwise he's just a bit odd ... and clearly not raised with proper courtesy.]

[pneumo]

Physically! I can show you if you want. [ It's the least he can do after being...obtuse, to put it lightly. ]

[tallasaking]

... One of these days, my curiosity really is going to get the better of me.
[He gave a wry smile.] Certainly. Let me see about your abilities.

[pneumo]

[ It's not so much of an ability but a legitimately physical difference between him and humans. Sascha will move to pull the ridiculous UV sunglasses off his face and show his eyes proper...which have absolutely zero iris. They're nothing but twin yellow pupils, completely dilated and blown to the point where not even a hint of what his actual eye colour should be can be seen.

he can only hold it for a few seconds though before his eyes begin to water. ]

[... Fascinating, that. Both of Tyrion's eyebrows raise, and his mis-matched eyes leaned in to better see Sascha's.]

Well yes, that would definitely count as a mutation. Why do they do that?

[pneumo]

[ He'll hold it for as long as he can, but it's obviously uncomfortable, and even when he hastily pulls his glasses back on he keeps them tightly shut, letting out a breath. ]

Uhh...just part of being me, hehe. I woke up with them. I dunno why it happens.

[Tyrion leans back again, his gaze narrowed slightly.]

So do you have a gift, beyond your eyes looking as if you can see in the dark without any problem? [No irises - how can he even process light?]

[pneumo]

[ He's not really meant to is the thing, which is why it hurts so much right now. He literally just blinded and damaged his retinas, and now they need to recover. ]

Well....I can do that. See in the dark, I mean. Most of the time I smell though. [ He tends to rely on that sense more than his eyesight when it comes to lit environments since his eyesight is much worse without darkness to protect it ]

So you rely on your other senses, instead of just eyesight. Remarkable. [He had heard of blind men having superior hearing, and so forth. Trading off one sense for another.]

[pneumo]

Yup! I actually don't see very good when it's daytime and stuff. It's way easier to just smell the air and listen to make sure I don't bump into stuff. [ In Sascha's case though, it's because he's just not human to begin with. ]

[tallasaking]

[He rubbed his chin thoughtfully.] So what other senses are heightened? Can you taste things more vividly?

[pneumo]

I don't really know... I can only eat a few things otherwise I get sick. [ So he has no way to compare with another person, unless they happened to like raw meat or blood. ]

[tallasaking]

Interesting ... what other things can you eat? [He folded his hands together, looking at him thoughtfully.]

[pneumo]

Mostly meat...and bones, and stuff. [ You know, totally normal things. ]

[tallasaking]

And you do not eat anything else? And how do you eat bones? [That is not normal but he is fascinated by what is happening.]

[pneumo]

I chew them? [ he's not sure how else to explain it, because that's what he does: chew. Until they crack and splinter, and he can down their jagged pieces whole. ]

They're really tasty.

[tallasaking]

Let me see if I understand this correctly - you chew on bones because they are tasty. [He eyed the other man.] How sharp are your teeth?

[pneumo]

Pretty sharp... [ He doesn't have super long fangs since they've begun to sink into his gums again as they settle, but if he grins Tyrion should be able to see them. ]
