Whoa.

[ Isaac is glad he doesn't have to deal with a place like that. From what he's heard, Davesprite's home (wherever that is) isn't all that great. He's wondered about it before, there's so much he doesn't understand about it. Especially considering all he knows now is that it's some fucked up video game world where Davesprite's friends die. ]

That's messed up. And it's pretty unfair. [ He shrugs a little. ] I think time just stops where we come from, when we leave it. Because it's like this place shouldn't have us or whatever, so everything just goes on one big pause. Or that's what I've heard, but I don't know. Stiles came back once with memories and experiences like nothing stopped for him, and we're from the same place, so I don't know. It's weird.

[ Isaac looks over at his friend and frowns. He doesn't understand enough to really help. Isaac knows that feeling very, very well. Reaching a hand out, he gives Davesprite's shoulder a little squeeze and shake, like he's not sure what else he can do. ] I'm sorry.

[ For his friends dying? For being a dick? For both of them being caught here when neither of them are quite happy? Who knows. ] I mean, I'm glad you're here, at least a little bit. But I guess that's kind of selfish. I don't really do the whole being totally alone thing very well.

[feathery]

I know, dude. I've been doing this shit for years. [He glances over at Isaac.] And quit apologizing to me.

[It's grouchy, but there isn't any real anger there aimed at Isaac. He's just grouchy to be grouchy.

He sighs again and flops onto his other side, feathers sticking out awkwardly beneath him.]

But yeah. I mean, I get it. Jade said the same thing to me; if we've got to be here, might as well make the best of it. It's not like we would have gotten to hang out in our respective universes and you're kind of my best friend.

[frigidaire]

I don't know, maybe you'd have been dropped into Beacon Hills. Weird stuff happens there.

[ Isaac slouches a little in his spot on the floor, stretches his legs out in front of him. ] Then I could show you around. It's pretty boring, though. Dude, there are uglier werewolves than me, you know. You'd love it.

[ He picks at the bed sheets before he reaches over to poke at a few of the feathers sticking out, the king of being annoying. ] So let's hang out. We could get food I guess, or find some alien games to play. If I have to play another round of hangman I might actually lose my mind, dude.

[feathery]

[The comment about ugly werewolves gets a short, soundless snort of laughter. He doesn't even acknowledge Isaac's feather poking; Jade does it so often he's kind of inured to it.]

How often have you been playing hangman. Who have you even been playing against.

[Because lbr, Davesprite would get bored and also probably yelled at for using words that Isaac doesn't believe are actually words.]

I played against Octavia sometimes, but. Sometimes I play by myself, too, so.

[ Isaac gets so very, very bored, okay? ] I dunno, I get tired of the games we have so I switch around sometimes. And it's not like we have any new movies. Why, you wanna play hangman?

[feathery]

[Davesprite hangs his head back over the edge of the bed, sunglasses sliding up his nose.]

Not when you just said you might lose your mind. Again.

[He isn't really enthused about the idea of Isaac losing his mind, full moon or no full moon. But he rolls off the bed and onto his feet.]

Come on, let's go get food.

[He absently offers a hand to Isaac, to help him off the floor.]

Yeah pretty sure that's not gonna happen. I don't feel the crazy, like, werewolf rage or anything so I think you're safe for now.

[ Isaac takes the hand and pulls himself up. ] Thanks. Yeah, food's probably a good idea, so. You know. Lead the way. Maybe not pizza, though, that place looked weird.

Let's not talk about the fuckin' living pizza that crawls off your plate, ok.

[And then they went to get food and it probably didn't even involve bugs, aw yeah.]
