[ It's another glorious day in the mortal realm, or as close to it as one can get when they're adrift in space. And you know what? Eris isn't even bothered that she's been summoned there despite the impossibility of it all. The fleet is just teeming with all sort of calamitous potential. So many people at odds with themselves, riddled with guilt or greed or doubt.

Pawns ripe for her to manipulate and lead to their untimely destruction.

Now that she's no longer confined to the Marsiva Eris can move about freely as she pleases, drifting from ship to ship with a mere thought. The Huntress, Tourist, Red Fish, Blue Fish...any ship is fair game to her and so is anyone. So the big question is...what exactly is your character doing? ]

Oh? [ Well, he's got her attention. She wants to see just what he thinks fits that label. ]

[He glances at her, gives her a smile and moves to sit on a stool and keep mixing.]

Well, it's not like I can complain. People go through worse every day and without nifty super powers and good health to balance it out.

Yes, you are rather...illuminating.

[ Blegh. He'd look so much better with some darkness inside his heart. ]

[There's darkness there, he's still human, but he's easily made happy and relaxed and lacking fear, he is very difficult to get a rise from.

He's still pissed off and deeply hurt about his husband walking out on him, for example.]

I can be more illuminating, but it feels excessive when all I'm doing is mixing cupcakes.

Oh, trust me. Any brighter and I wouldn't be able to stomach you. [ It's half insult, half truth. Eris doesn't pull her punches when she sees fit to give them. ]

You're as noble as they come. [ b o r i n g. But for now? Entertainment enough. ]

[He's not noble. He just tries to be less of an asshole than the average person. Great powers, great responsibility, something like that.]

Well, you don't eat sweets. There's some fried potato cakes in the fridge that can be reheated.

[ That's being noble Apollo!! At least in her books. ]

That's...sweet of you, [ sickeningly so, and Eris gives a wave of her hand with which her body follows, spiralling and twisting into threads that knit themselves back together in front of the fridge so that she can run a finger slowly down it's surface...aging the metal and likely spoiling the food inside. ] but I don't eat♥

[His voice is firm.]

You ruin it, people go hungry. I don't like people being starved when they shouldn't be.

Oops♥ [ Eris isn't the least bit sorry. ] What a shame that would be~

It would be!

Because then I'd get annoyed and I'm not so nice when I'm annoyed.

[The halo around his head is starting to show and brighten. Not to painful to look at levels, but he's definitely lighting the room on his own now.]

[ It's kind of cute that he's showing off. Irritating, but cute. Luckily she's less bothered by physical light than the icky-sweet goodness of his heart itself. ]

No? How do you know I wouldn't enjoy that even more?

[It is a little bit of showing off. It's also a little bit a natural response. Glowing is just a thing he does with high emotions.]

Because I get a bit burny. Like the sun.

Sweetie, I'm a God. We create things like suns. If you want to go ahead and brighten the room like a good little lamp...be my guest♥

[He thinks for a second. He's killed gods before. Usually by throwing them into suns.

Instead he grins at her and settles comfortably into his seat and keeps mixing.]

Apparently I make a wonderful nightlight for young children as well.

[ Apollo, how rude. ]

Isn't that....sweet. [ Yick. ]

Sometimes we use construction paper with pin holes to make our own constellations on the ceilings.

Oh, well isn't that fascinating. [ Apollo good lord. She's going to need to get you killed somehow. ]

[Bingo. He's starting to glow again, but now it seems to be from pure contentment.]

We found all kinds of uses for glowing. Apparently it makes great mood lighting as well.
