he looks from kara to kitty; the mask hides his smile, but it's obvious in his energy. he actually bounces a little bit with excitement. ]

OK. Before we embark on Project Plato Alpha test - can I just say - this is awesome. And let's not die. [ the last part is a joke. mostly. they ran their calculations very carefully! and kara is mostly invulnerable and kitty can phase. ok, so he's the one who needs to focus on not dying.

there's a reason he usually leaves the speeches to kara and james. ]

Okay, so we've got it up and running to produce high intensity portions of the electromagnetic radiation the sun gives off. We're going to monitor your reactions to it the best we can and if we don't actually hit the bullseye with this hopefully we will be able to figure out where it is for round two. But also, you should tell us what you're feeling or if we accidentally set you on fire. Definitely tell us if you're on fire.

[ he has a whole array of safety equipment with him, just in case, and a first aid kit, but he'd rather not have to use it. ]

[ she jogs in place slightly and shakes her arms out, exhaling ]

You'll have that with infrared. We're trying not to minimize and reroute heat output with the way we structured it, but we didn't want to get carried away to the point where we were really changing the sun's output because if regular lightbulbs worked on you, then this wouldn't be a problem.

[She's kind of into this. The science. She's felt like the muscle lately with people like Winn, Cisco, and Hank around. And, well, she's pretty good at being the muscle it's just that without people like Hank or Charles with the X-Men in her world she was kind of the brains there too? At least in the area of tech. It's good to feel useful for that again. Then again this might fail spectacularly.]

It could be a lot of things. Not to mention our testing facility is not exactly the best. Yay dirty little moon. Okay, on to Uultraviolet. Don't be concerned if you start glowing.

You've been running on empty for a while, it makes sense for it to take time. And most likely it'll require some sorta combo - but if we figure out what level of which radiation has the most promising results - even if it's a fraction of an inch better - we'll know what to combine.

[ he says it as much for himself as for kara. it's really hard not to imagine him hitting a button - and her flying away, happy, strong, and safe. he just wants to do this for her, please, just give him something, multiverse! ]

[ she understands the scientific value but also mostly she's just standing here as they do things. so she has to know the Important Facts of UV reflection ]

We should definitely start work on a bowling alley next. [Her eyes stray from the machine and Kara though as she looks around them, noticing that some of the air has been illuminated too. Like showing off the stains in a hotel room.] Ew.

[ you know what you should absolutely not joke about around winn? projects. because he will make them happen, and kara's ban on new side projects be damned. he's already picked up a bunch since. ]

Speaking of playing - Cisco made a miniature air-hockey table - we can mess around with that til we get bowling rolling.

[ he may or may not ~~we all know he is~~ be working on turning his music library into karaoke tracks too. when new people ask 'what do you do for fun around here', they are not going to be told laundry ever again. ]

First of all, the bowling alley can wait. But air-hockey sounds great.

And things are fine? I feel like, yeah, maybe we don't all talk together but I basically tell both of you the same things.
