sorry kitty, confusion and hilarity require they talk about you and he tends to not do that much he wants to because...there are just a million different reasons why that's awkward ranging from - the two of them are friends, and he's really not trusting his best friend status to buy him confidentiality here, to he doesn't want to rub his happiness in kara's face anymore than they do unintentionally, with stops at - his feelings about kara are complicated. ]
