I figure if people are going to explore we should do it in a group anyways. Safer that way since we have no idea what is in those things.

Oh. Sorry. But I guess you've figured out by now that those are all over the network now right? Does the girl in question know you have them? Otherwise this is going to make things awkward...

[ Not to mention make you look like a creeper Steve. ]

[ IDK Steve, those look like candid shots. ]

I'm used to groups of four to five, but the fact is I can't stop anyone from actually coming. Ideally I would like a small group to go in first and report to another outside. We can determine how many more to send in from that. I would also ideally like a squad to stay outside - just in case. But that's all "ideally". I'm leading the expedition, but at the end of the day no one has to actually follow my orders either. So basically we'll be playing it by ear.

[ Didn't argue they weren't nice. Still Steve. Little judging. ]

I appreciate that. As for following orders - I agree. But it's not like I can press court martial or punish them for disobeying like on my own ship back home. So it'll come down to individuals, but I hope my experience with these kind of things lends some weight and people will trust me to know what I'm doing.

They should, but even if they don't, I feel better having the group than someone wandering alone and getting hurt. But on a bright note I do have a doctor coming with us - Beverly Crusher, also from Star Fleet.

You just never know with these kinds of things. And with no beaming technology, better to have the doctor on hand. I'm not expecting much trouble though, to be honest.

You're the second person who's brought that up. And I share that concern. It raises many questions about the "show" - among other things.

That's one of the questions, isn't it? I, personally, don't think so - but I have no proof to the contrary either. There have been 'fan letters', but those easy to fabricate, so I'm not counting them as solid proof for anything.

If we did, I would be more inclined to believe the reality show theory. But I have a feeling it won't do something like that - it would allow us, I think, to gather to much information it probably doesn't want us knowing.
