[Ahsoka is wandering around outside with her usual air filtration mask on, but something is different-- obviously different. This isn't the sixteen-maybe-seventeen year old girl of yesterday. This is a pre-teen. And she seems lost.]

... Skyguy? ... Master Kenobi? I know you guys are around! You can come out now...! "Prank the padawan" isn't funny any more...

[She shudders.] This planet is giving me the creeps.

[The video is simple: a young, familiar alien graces the screen, except... something's off. Way off. It's not just that her clothes are different-- she's shorter, horns smaller, too. When she talks, her voice is more high pitched, and the cadence different too. Less... calm.]

Hey! Is everyone just okay with the fact that we can't go outside without air filters?! What sort of condition is this for people to live in? What's being done to help the local inhabitants? Or move them off-world?

I need to speak to the person or people in charge! Immediately.

Jon does not drop the snack he's bought himself in shock, but it's a very near thing. Until now he's been used to Ahsoka being about his age, and it's thus jarring to see her so much younger than he is. And acting so much younger too.

It's enough for his protective instincts to kick right in, and he almost forgets that he's wearing a gas mask that'd render him unrecognizable to most people.]

Ahsoka? [You are so small, what the fuck. He steps closer, holding his hands up so she can see he doesn't have anything in them besides his snack, still wrapped and vacuum-sealed in plastic.] Are you all right?

I... think I'm a little bit lost. [She looks none-too-happy about it, if the pout is anything to go by.]

Have you seen Master Skywalker or Master Kenobi? I swear, if they've left me behind...! All I did was take a nap.

[She's so young, she's as green as summer grass. Jon feels a moment's sympathy for her--he'd been that young too, once.]

I've not seen either of them. [True--he just doesn't mention he doesn't know who she's talking about.] Mayhaps they're looking for you right now. [That's a guess, and one made just to be reassuring at that.]

[Ahsoka pauses, taking that in for a second. Well, that's got her stumped. What's the right procedure in this kind of scenario? She doesn't even know.]

How do you know my name, anyway? Are you our ground contact?

[Oh, right. That. He'd said her name, he'd recognized her when she didn't recognize him--which stings a little, not that he'll admit as much to her right now. He breathes in, and nods to a conveniently placed bench.]

You'll want to sit down for it. [A moment's pause, then he adds:] You might not believe me, but I promise, what I'm going to tell you is true.

Well, I am a Jedi. I can tell when someone's lying.

Hit me. I'll do my best to listen.

Don't say I didn't warn you, then.

[A sigh. Well, there's only one way to do this:] I know you. Or--at least I will know you, when you're older. [He squints a little at Ahsoka, still a bit off-guard from how young she is. It makes him think of a young boy, just as green as summer grass, wanting to find his own sort of honor on the Wall.] You usually are, and taller as well.

[ Ahsoka squints at him then, clearly weighing up his words. But the Force doesn't ring with any hint of a lie, so that leaves only one question... ]

How much taller are we talking here?

[What, really? That's all?

Jon pauses for a moment, as if thinking about it. He's never had the opportunity to really check how tall Ahsoka is, usually, and now that he's thinking about it he's--not actually all that sure. After a moment, he holds his hand out to about two or three inches down from his own height.]

About this tall. With pointier--horns, I suppose. [They don't look like horns, but it's the closest word he has.]

Montrals. [She says, by way of explanation. Then she realises Jon might not understand what she means.] That's the word you're looking for. They're montrals, not horns. Slightly different.

And yeah, they grow bigger with age. Shaak-Ti's are like... THIS big. [Ahsoka gestures a good 30cm over her head.]
