[When the feed opens, the first thing seen is an empty bed. It's been slept in somewhat recently, you can see the mess the owner's left it in, but the owner himself is nowhere in sight--at least until someone picks the communicator up.

Congrats, folks, it's a new month and one of the first things you get to see is Jon Snow's deeply annoyed frown, framed by a shot of the--ceiling?]

And here I thought this fleet couldn't surprise me anymore. [From his exasperated tone, it's probably immediately obvious just what he thinks about this little surprise.] I hadn't been told anything like this would happen. Does it usually?

[And he turns the camera down towards his feet, which, currently, are floating a few feet off the ground. He pulls the camera back up towards his face, which is wearing an expression of utter annoyance.]

And when can I get back down?

[The feed ends right there, but curious souls can find Jon floating grumpily or trying to ineffectually steer himself along the corridors of the Three Twins! Looks like he's just gotten his first taste of an augment malfunction, and it's just made him immune to the ship's gravity drive.

What a lucky bastard.]

[The day hasn't even started yet.]

[ What better way to start off a day than with a good laugh? There's still a note of laughter in Theon's voice when he responds again. ]

Looks like you're in a predicament, Snow. I think I speak for everyone when I say that you're best left up there.

Unless you know if this happened before, or of some way to help me get down from here [which he doubts Greyjoy will give freely anyway], then I don't recall asking you for what you think.

I'd rather not be. [Okay, so if he kicks like this he can almost steer himself.] Do you know what might have caused this? Because if I've an idea of what happened, I might be able to find a way to keep both feet on the ground without having to tie weights to myself.

[ Obi-Wan considers this problem thoughtfully. ]

I can probably help you get to the ground, though I'm not sure where you will find heavy enough weights to keep you grounded.

There's probably something in the engine room I could use for a time. [But help--that's enough to get him to breathe a sigh of relief.] I'll take the help. I've been flying for less than an hour and I'm already sick of it.

[ And with that he cuts the connection, already making his way to the Three Twins. ]

[The cargo hold is empty at first once Obi-wan gets there, but it's not for long--Jon floats inside in a rather erratic fashion, having figured out a way to get around that involves pushing off of objects in a zig-zag pattern.

He hasn't figured out how to stop yet, so when he comes in, it's at a slightly alarming speed, and he manages to smack right into a wall.

Step one: get to the cargo hold with minimal embarrassment.

Needless to say, step one's failed.]

...please never tell my brother about this. [That's assuming the man helping him out knows either Bran or Robb, but. Well, he's got to cover all his bases here.]

[ Whoever they are. Obi-Wan closes his eyes briefly as he calls upon the Force and gently uses it to pull Jon Snow down to the ground. ]

[Her first thought was that maybe he set the part of the ship that controls gravity on fire, but nothing else is floating.]

[Tyrion is not laughing - Tyrion is concerned. Tyrion is currently going through his journals.]

You might be going through what people have called ... a malfunctioning augment. It doesn't seem to happen very often.

[He frowned, peering at Jon.] Do you feel otherwise ill? Outside of being without the ability to touch the ground, that is.

When the ships lost power in the nebula several months ago, the artificial gravity was disabled and everyone was temporarily affected in the same manner. Magnetic boots should do the trick.

It seems to work just fine for everyone else even when they step inside. It's just me. [Lucky him. Now he's upside-down.]

Well, think of it as good practice for if there's ever a ship malfunction and you have to operate with no gravity!

[Jon is now floating upside-down, and is just glaring balefully at his communicator now when Vash calls his attention. He stuffs the comm inside a pocket and glances up--or down?--at Vash and crosses his arms.]

No, it's not. [As blunt as ever, Snow.]

[Robb's lucky this is voice, because Jon is giving him the most dead-eyed look he has.]

Aye. Don't ask me how it happened, I was already floating when I awoke. [Deep sigh.] I'd do that if I could reach anything.
