Robb Stark

[Blue Fish]
[Robb Stark has been quiet after he has gotten the news from his siblings. Not that he forgot about his duties as head of security, not at all. He just gets up when people are still asleep and he returns when they are awake. The weapons inside the weaponry are always cleaned and so is the floor.

At night he sometimes sneaks out to get a bottle of soda out of the cold box, just so he could drink it until he had to piss and until his tongue would feel numb from all the tingles. Still, Robb is in no way a master in sneaking around. Eventually he will bump into a crewmate and eventually he should have conversations and eventually he would get questions...

Still, most of the time Robb is inside his room, not in a mood to be surrounded by people. Of course, he is sure he finally snaps out of it, like he also managed to stop sobbing over his father’s death to make plans to bring justice to those who caused it. He is also quite positive that he will finally manage to take action. To send letters to those who matter, to pick up his lady mother and throw her out of the window for the sake of her surviving a plunge into the Trident. Mayhaps he could thrust a knife through lord Frey’s twisted heart as some sort of revenge for such a vile scheme.

But for now he likes to spend most of his hours alone.]

[When Robb finds Theon he does not wait until the other would start his idiotic remarks. He approaches him fast with a grim expression on his face. Before Theon can speak Robb takes hold of his collar and shoves him against the wall of the ship.]

Do you wish to be forgiven for your treason, turncloak?

[He hisses the words as he speaks, looking Theon straight in the eyes.
Gods, he hopes the other says yes. And he hopes even more that he can trust him with this. Theon and trust barely go together in one sentence.]

[When he arrives he is rather quiet and he looks quite tired. His hair is a bit more messy than it usual is and it shows that he hasn’t slept well. In his hands he holds a couple of letters, carefully folded and sealed with wax from a candle. Above the seal he has scribbled the weapon of his house.]

Lady Granger... [He rolls his shoulders a little before he points the letters out to her.] ...I need you to...send these to Westeros. With...a spell. The way you explained me earlier. They need to be sent to different places.

[After those words he unfolds the piece of paper that is not a letter. He has drawn a map of Westeros onto it.]

I do not wish to hear about the impossibilities of it all. Unless it will not harm you I want to try. It is of great importance that we try. At the least.

[He would like it that his goodfamily would know of the disgusting pact lord Frey has made with Bolton. And his lady wife needs to be safe as well. And the rest of the North.]

I was informed of what happened, Lord Stark. I am sorry for what was done to you.

[She won't explain how - that it was Tyrion, her closest counsel at present beyond those who serve as her crewmates aboard the Caprine. She won't tell him how much she knows or the fact that she had seen hints of what was to come, when she'd been held in the House of the Undying. The memory of the lord sitting at the feast with the head of a wolf and the body of a man gave her chills. Knowing what she knows now, it reminded her of him and it made her physically ill.]

I was informed when I had long since arrived to the Fleet but I knew there were to be casualties in the war. Even in Essos they know of the War of Five Kings, just as surely your people have heard the tales of my dragons - as believable as they are or not.

[Ser Barristan had made sure she knew how good the people of House Stark were - that what had been done to Ned Stark had been monstrous. She hadn't wanted to believe so when she'd first spoken to Robb, but knowing what she knows now, she feels a sadness for him and his kin. Sansa was just a girl and Robb was about the same age as Daenerys. Neither he nor Dany should have been old enough to be Kings or Queens and yet here they stood.

Part of her wishes Tyrion had spared her the answer to her inquiries of the Starks and that of the other Houses involved. She'd wanted to know the Lannister's crimes. Now that she knew them, she felt sadness that they could so easily decimate what was once seven united kingdoms - save for the Dornish who aligned themselves in name alone and the Grayjoys who refused to bow to no one, as Theon was quick to tell her.
]

I am sorry.

[She doesn't know how else to explain herself. She doesn't want him to think she pities him nor that she legitimately cares for him either. Truly, she doesn't. He brings out an uglier side that she kept in check as often as she could. It reminded her that she was a girl, before she was a Queen. She tried her best to be the latter at all times, composed and calculated in every decision she made.]

Robert Baratheon seemed rather convinced of the threat i posed the Iron Throne long before I had dragons. He sent a wine merchant to poison me while I was with child, while your Lord Father was his Hand.

[But she's not going to keep harping on Ned Stark's honor. Not today, anyway.]

I imagine Cersei Lannister would be more concerned herself were she not intending to burn the Seven Kingdoms to the ground before I arrive.

[She does pity him to a degree. He'd died with no choice to it. Men like him and Drogo would have wanted to die in battle, not murdered by knives in their backs or a pillow constricting their lungs.]

I only know because Tyrion Lannister serves as one of my advisors. He has graciously offered his services to me, in the belief that I and my dragons can make the difference Westeros needs. Unlike the North, he believes very much in them. He told me when I asked him of the casualties that have happened in the war.

[She's waiting for him to wonder why she even continued to make nice with him on a diplomatic level if she knew of his death. She could have easily just continued to approach Sansa, his remaining living heir to the North, and yet she imagined the girl was tired of games. She wanted to show her that there were no games she intended to play with House Stark. If she wanted to cull Sansa's favor she would leave it to Tyrion to be her liaison on that matter. He seemed capable enough. Robb, on the other hand... well she felt a great kinship to him, the more she came to understood him. It was a small thing, but the two of them wore their crowns as best they could. He had his people to think about and she had her own. Neither did half measures on that account.]

[Well, this was going badly quickly. Again. Was this just how they would always be with one another?]

I only know what I know - he was Robert Baratheon's Hand when the attempt was made on my life.

[And Tyrion could probably clear that bit up for the both of them if need be. Gods why does she bother? Robb Stark had to be the most infuriating man she'd ever met.]

I am not lying when I say I want us to be allies. We both have established we are not our fathers and their sins - whatever they may be for Ned Stark - are not our own. As for Lord Tyrion - he has proven himself to me that he is trustworthy on both of our sides. I trust his judgement and you should as well.

[She would say more but Robb probably wouldn't care to respond. The damage is well done between them. Perhaps in the future she will ask Tyrion to oversee their conversations so as to mediate.]

[Ouch. Well he... has a point. Really the only things she knows of Westeros come second hand. Tyrion had not been able to win her over easily, either, but that was between herself and her advisor, not some outside party. She had good reason to trust him.]

Be that as it may - Innocent and Just men can still make grave mistakes in their lives.

[Just as she's sure Robb himself has made many. She isn't perfect either. She's sure she's made plenty of mistakes - the first being trusting the woman who murdered her husband.]

They do indeed, and yet here we are - talking.

I'd sooner burn him alive or feed him to one of my dragons. He'd deserve no less. It is one thing to conquer something but what he did was treason and murder. I punish treason severely.

Your crown means something to the North. It means something to your siblings still living. If you cannot avenge what was done to your house, then I am sure they will in your place.

[It could happen. She related so well to his anger and bitterness. It was a strange thing to find a kinship in but it was theirs. The only difference was that she was still alive. Perhaps in the future she could find herself truly aligning with the remnants of House Stark and, should they truly ask her for it, she might just grant them sovereignty that they so deserve.]

I truly do wish I could help, Lord Stark. And yet I find myself a world away, watching from afar as our homes burn to ash. I won't press you again to be allies, because I realize that could also cost you. Your men need you, but even in your demise they will find purpose to continue. Surely that can't be the end of it.

[Unfortunately, she had no idea how wrong she was and how right he was.]
