Awright, lets get this over with quick.
[ Ben's been loitering for a few days in the Marisva, getting his bearings, read'n up on what he could about this place, but some stuff you only get through good old fashioned talking face to face. Or face to camera. A huge, craggy, orange face fills the screen, all worn and weathered and animate like stone probably shouldn't be. There's a slow blink and a low sigh, the Thing rolling out his shoulders and settling in for a fun series of conversations. ]
Ben Grimm here of The Fantastic Four and Avengers ask'n for a headcount. Who all's here, who ain't, and which version of earth are ya from?
[ It ain't his first rodeo, it ain't even his tenth- it is his second in one of these weird 'crammed in a jaw and hope noth'n blows up' sortsa places though. Seems a bit nicer than Luceti. For one thing: Space! For another: he gets to pilot. ]
And can we skip the 'oh gosh gee you're all big and orange and rocky!' like I don't know. You're in space, you've gotta have seen stranger things than me by now.

[Well now he really is curious but he holds to honoring Grimm's request of not asking.]
My apologies for the mistake, then. But does that mean Earth has the capability for space travel?
[More importantly, does that mean unfortunate business here in space could turn him into a brightly colored mobile statue? He doesn't exactly relish the thought but that too seems rude to ask.
A lot of taboos, this one.]

[ Ever hear a rock whistle? Hawke has now. Somehow it ain't terrible. ]

That makes perfect sense, march of technology and all that. I wonder if Thedas will ever get there. Or has gotten there, sometime in the future from my present. Honestly we're not even sure if there's anything beyond the Aramanthine Ocean currently.

[ Sometimes he misses being Blackbeard. ]
Sail'n for the horizon, not sure if you're gonna find anything before you run outta grog?

[What had Isabela called him?]
Land-lover.
You never have to run out of grog on dry land, after all.

[He could go for one now. Something terrible that burns more than it tastes like anything, which is good because Maker forbid you catch a hint of what might have fallen into the mug before the ale had.
He misses the Hanged Man something fierce.
Speaking of...]
Are you a new arrival too, then? I'd love to find a place to get a stiff drink around here but I have the feeling asking you might be useless if you're as green as I am.

[He hopes Grimm will show him the same courtesy.]

Of course! We're all in the same boat after all. We should help each other out, share and share alike.
