Awright, lets get this over with quick.

[ Ben's been loitering for a few days in the Marisva, getting his bearings, read'n up on what he could about this place, but some stuff you only get through good old fashioned talking face to face. Or face to camera. A huge, craggy, orange face fills the screen, all worn and weathered and animate like stone probably shouldn't be. There's a slow blink and a low sigh, the Thing rolling out his shoulders and settling in for a fun series of conversations. ]

Ben Grimm here of The Fantastic Four and Avengers ask'n for a headcount. Who all's here, who ain't, and which version of earth are ya from?

[ It ain't his first rodeo, it ain't even his tenth- it is his second in one of these weird 'crammed in a jaw and hope noth'n blows up' sortsa places though. Seems a bit nicer than Luceti. For one thing: Space! For another: he gets to pilot. ]

And can we skip the 'oh gosh gee you're all big and orange and rocky!' like I don't know. You're in space, you've gotta have seen stranger things than me by now.

Yeah. Big, furry, blue, hangs around upside down while do'n Sudoku. Drives Stretch nuts, it's hilarious.

I don't know what Sudoku is, but the rest sounds familiar. I keep - uh, blue and furry under control for most of the day. Who's Stretch and why does it drive him nuts?

Think crossword puzzles, but math. Stretch is Reed Richards, I'm rock, he's rubber. And it's cuz you keep adjust'n his calculations when he ain't look'n.

Way he tells it you think differently and frame equations accordingly. You'll still get the same answer but you write in Greek and he writes in Cyrillic.

I don't know how I am with smaller kids, but older ones I'm decent. [a shrug] I teach at the school - Charles' school.

It's - fulfilling. We had to close for a while, but we were working on opening it again before we were brought here. There's - ah, it's just Charles and I from the X-Men, though. Right now, at least. [who knows in the coming years]

Give it time. It'll probably get as big as the one from my place. Mansion will probably get leveled a coupla times too, but that's a rite of passage for buildings that house people like us.
