[Bigby is, in this regard and this moment, incredibly indulgent.

Generally speaking, Bigby doesn't let people touch his feet. He also doesn't sleep well with other people around, but Sascha has managed to slide under his defences on that one as well.

He wakes up because his toes are being played with and shifts enough to shove his wet, cold nose against Sascha's head and neck, double checking it is who it should be.]

[ And it is exactly that, and just in case there's any doubt Sascha lets out a quiet but sudden laugh as Bigby's wet nose bumps into him, shrugging his shoulders up and grinning widely. One hand leaves his oversized paw to reach up and half-hug the wolf's muzzle, rubbing the top of it gently. Just in case he isn't ready to quite wake up yet. ]

[Bigby makes a low sound that says he's not really awake yet and half shoves his nose under Sascha, lifting him off his feet before his head tucks back in and his paw drapes over the top of his snout.

Yeah. Not awake.]

Wah-- [ He's not expecting to be picked up and subsequently ruled away, but hey. Sascha has no complaints. He covets moments like this, opportunities to actually be close to not only an animal in ways impossible prior to now, but also someone he happens to be incredibly fond of. Bigby isn't an affectionate person by any stretch, but instances like this?

These are what Sascha likes the most. So he nuzzles in close and settles under the weight of his paw, happy. ]

[Big's nose wrinkles briefly and then he settles again with a heavy sigh and the rush of fresh winds around them.]

... 'sit evening yet?

[pneumo]

[ when he does the scent of fresh mint and pine hits Sascha's nose, and he sighs pleasantly as a result before responding. ]

I think so... I'm awake. [ he hasn't checked any clocks or displays since his shades are off. ]

[bb_wolf]

[Bigby grunts and sighs again, settling back into his position.]

Fuck it. Not getting up yet. Not much fucking point on this fleet. Maybe I should try hibernating.

[pneumo]

But wolves don't hibernate... [ This he says with amusement because he's just picturing a giant sleepy Bigby out in the snow, continuing to softly run a hand over the top of his snout. ]

Wolves don't grow as big as I am.

[He's not a wolf. He's a Fable wolf. If he wants to hibernate, he'll fucking hibernate.]

Hmm... [ that he'll give him. But he's still going to sound amused. ]

If you slept through winter does that mean I can stay?

[bb_wolf]

If I was? Yeah, I guess so.

[ Sascha leans his head against the other's snout. ]

Mm. Maybe. Might shove you off my snout after a while. Don't think you'd be so good at hibernating.

Not really... I can only sleep during the day. I'd wake up when it was night out.

[bb_wolf]

Yeah. Not good for hibernating.

[He gives a small yawn and another huff of pine and mint and north wind cold.]

I can sleep through a winter. Did it sometimes, when it was too cold to bother coming out.

[Avoiding his father.]

[ Bigby.... ]

I froze once, does that count?

[ ...No, really. He was frozen for a couple of months in death-limbo when he misjudged some weather and had no place to sleep. ]

No. Not in the slightest.

I figured... [ He sighs again and nuzzles in a little closer, closing his eyes although he has no intention of trying to sleep again. ]

[bb_wolf]

[Bigby is silent a moment, then hums a query.]

Do you think I'm...different? [ And not different as in stupid, or weird, or useless, or ridiculous. He means different. ]

[bb_wolf]

[One large eye opens to peer at the vampire' draped over his snout.]

Yes. You mind me more of a Fable than anything else.
