Wrath Before June 7 | OTA

A: Showers

[Everyone's favorite. Wrath's extremely happy about the bathtub, since it means she can soak her back. She also takes quite a few hot showers though, for purely therapeutic reasons. But if you'd like to have a potentially awkward naked conversation with her in which she has no idea why you keep stammering, this is your moment.]

B: Kitchen

[Since she's successfully made a pink drink that tastes pretty good, and something that's almost like hot chocolate, she's come to the conclusion that she can mix drinks all right, she just can't cook worth a damn. So she's in the kitchen now and then, experimenting with various mixes of flavorings to see what she can come up with next. Some aren't bad. Some are... really bad. She accepts all guinea pigs, or people just wanting to keep her company.]

C: Movie Night

[She is shocked--SHOCKED!--that you have never seen her movie from home. It's a lot of fun, okay. There's copious amounts of both explosions and nudity. Hope you're ready for Demon Marines of Draconis-9.]

Sharing is Caring: Kitchen
[After making it to a waystation, Kitty got a package of assorted snack foods and one of foodstuffs. Much of this is making its way into the cabinets for general consumption. She wouldn't even know what to do with flour, okay? She is pretty happy with the dried meat though. Find her snacking on some jerky or reorganizing the funyuns so they stop falling out whenever the door is opened.]

Tiny Dancer: Cargo Hold
[So, she didn't mean to start dancing. It just kind of happened. There was a graceful turn that turned into a glide which turned into some ballet shit going down. The shoes aren't really right for it, but she's making due and kind of lost in the old motions. It's been a long time and she's rusty, but her body is still well trained, so the movements are fluid and where she forgets them she supplements with something more battle-appropriate in kicking or jumping.]

[She got a chess board and a deck of cards while on the moon and she's not afraid to use them. In fact, she might just play by herself until it's too pathetic of you not to join her.]

[ It's very shortly after this--a few hours, a night, whichever--that Sascha anxiously making his way to Kitty's room aboard the Windrose occurs. How shaken he is by the news he's been given is evident in the way that he doesn't show up in the middle of the night, his preferred time to roam about--Sascha goes early. Or "late" for him as it were; it's actually almost a reasonable time for everyone to begin waking up for the day and starting to go about their business that the wannabe-vampire rushes to Kitty's room and practically forces the sliding door open himself.

Not to toss himself onto the bed or tackle anyone, or even to try and sneak onto the bed stealthily.

He just needs to make sure he can see her there, hands pressed into the door frame tightly as he pants for breath. ]

[ He sends her a brief message asking whether they could meet up. Leto was . . . nervous. Oddly so. He rarely feels the need to get things off his chest, but he finds himself caught in many strings. Many people.

Perhaps an impartial view would help. ]

[Kitty is snuggled up against Winn, not ready to wake yet when she hears the first sound of the door being forced. In a flash she is on her feet and grabbing her claws. She stops as she identifies her intruder] ...Sascha?

[She stands there in a t-shirt and shorts. Recent experiences have taught her to sleep in more clothes. Seems like it paid off. Something about him stops her from scolding him about calling first or even knocking.]

[Kitty is waiting in the cargo hold for him, leaning against a wall, curious about what's going on.]

[winn]

[ the sound of the opening door barely registers, but when kitty gets up and speaks, he hums in protest and rubs his eyes, pulling himself up to a sitting position, in nothing but his boxers.

he frowns as he takes the scene in. ]

...what's going on?

[precedented]

[ He smiles at her, genuine as he exits the Shuttle. There's a hint of nervousness in him that he can't quite repress. ]

I felt I was due another impromptu visit. I believe people do that?

[pneumo]

[ Others might be embarrassed or even scandalized to come across them in bed together (even with clothes), but in Sascha's case? He's so relieved to see and hear Kitty that he doesn't even try to speak or explain why he's there (that will come after); the vampire just hurries to her and wraps his arms around her tightly...power permitting.

If she doesn't phase away he'll actually even lift her up some, burying his face in her shoulder. ]

[She stays solid for him, wrapping her arms around him after a moment of surprise.] Sascha, what happened? [Her voice is soft and she holds the gauntlet that didn't make it to her wrist out for Winn to take so she can better hold her vampire.]

[She smiles back, picking up a little on that something extra she hasn't seen in him before.]

Absolutely people do that. My vampire usually does it while Winn and I are still in bed by just showing up, so this is a big step up. You're always welcome, Leto. Where to? Kitchen? My room? Bridge?

[winn]

[ jumping out of bed, winn grabs that gauntlet and puts it carefully away, before grabbing his shirt and pants ]

I'll just -- give you guys some privacy.

[ it feels like they have something to work through, something he'd be in the way of. ]

Whichever you prefer. I believe I confuse Sascha far too much with my, ah, mysterious ways.

[ He feels a little bad about it - as he tends to, whenever he runs into these communication stumbling blocks. ]

I'm sure he still likes the attention even if he's confused. [She leads him toward the kitchen.]

[pneumo]

[ Sascha would insist he doesn't need to and feel bad for having imposed Winn out of the room if he could, but admittedly at the moment? Everything's all about Kitty, about what Kurt had told him of their world and that he'd died, that everything there was going to end which meant her too if she ever returns--and it's just too much.

He mumbles something, but it's muffled by her shirt. ]

I had noticed that. But I'm sure he doesn't lack for any these days.

I think when you go without it for long enough you probably don't reach a point of saturation quickly.

[ He shakes his head. ]

[She gives Winn a helpless sort of look and considers asking him to stay, but Sascha isn't really answering in a way she can hear yet, so she's not sure what he needs.]

Everything's okay. Just tell me what happened.

Hopefully he'll start being more selective about the kind he wants.

Tea? [Her turn to make it.]

I wouldn't get my hopes up.

[ He nods. ] Ah, please.

[winn]

[ he pulls his clothes on quickly, and gives sascha's shoulder a squeeze on the way out, mouthing 'kitchen' to kitty, in case they need to find him. he also makes sure to grab his communicator and show her he's got it, in case they don't want to leave the room to do so. ]

Ouch. Well, I'll just have to beat people up if they're mean to him. [She's probably not really going to do that or need to...maybe.

Starting on the tea.]

[ He raises an eyebrow. ]

How likely do you think that'll be?

[pneumo]

[ See Winn, this is why you're the best boyfriend ever. You just know what to do when it comes to impossible stuff like this. Sascha wouldn't know the first thing about how to ride it out if someone popped up in Bigby's room like this and latched onto him.

It's still going to take him a minute or two of swallowing and trying to get over the overwhelming sense of relief and despair he feels upon being able to physically reassure himself that Kitty's there, she hasn't died or gone anywhere yet before he can parse a reply, but when he does manage it his voice is thick with emotion and heavy, almost fearful. ]

't said...he said--your world's gone. And that means you...you are too.
