Action: the Blameless. warning for injury treatment, probably.

[This is the second time in the span of seven days that Erik has had to pilot a shuttle while his vision isn't a hundred percent. It's almost a pattern, he thinks blearily to himself. Different causes, though. As the shuttle docks with the Blameless, he can't help but blow out a breath.

First step done. Now to get out.]

[he is reminded, once again, how much he hates this. How this shouldn't be happening. So on and so forth, in the back of his mind.

He finally sighs out and faintly shakes his head] As far as I can tell, it's fractured. [he glances up at Erik] Not broken, at least.

Good. [It will take less time to heal, in that case. They're not in Kyriakos anymore; they can't expect this to be resolved in a week or less. This is reality, where injuries will plague them for weeks.]

It still needs a cast, though. [but at least, it's not as bad as he assumed. He's glad for that much] Just splinting it wouldn't be enough to let it heal properly.

[Maybe it's the blows to the head talking, but Erik finds that very confusing.]

Where... are you going to get things to make a cast with?

I . . . have it here already?

[he's giving Erik a very worried look] It's a proper medical lab.

I haven't familiarised myself with your lab, Hank. [In his own, he's only spent time around the chemicals and areas needed for stripping metal of poison. Maybe he's looked around the rest, but right now he can't recall the contents of it.]

[he makes a noise and faintly shakes his head]

Well, now you're familiar. It's the first time it's being used for it's intended purpose.

How long will that take? The cast?

[he sits back on his heels and rubs at his face]

Twenty minutes, maybe? I've done it once, and that was back when I was in school.

[Well, the painkillers will have thoroughly set it by the time that happens. Erik can already feel them starting to work. He tips his head towards Charles.]

You can start that after you're done with him. I won't move my arm again.

[. . . squint]

You two have a very bad habit of prioritizing each other without considering your own injuries.

[stating the obvious there, honestly. But he pushes to his feet with a wince] I was going to do that anyway.

I did consider them. Broken ribs are worse than a fractured arm.

And a head injury is just as bad as broken ribs.

[why is he arguing this] Just - stay there and keep your arm still. I'll be back when I'm done with Charles.

[Charles has a head injury too, he still wins (loses). Erik nods slightly, letting the subject drop.]

[you better let it drop Lehnsherr or he'll give you a pink cast.

But he huffs again and turns to go tend to Charles. You're free, for now]
