[The communication device appeared simple enough for his purposes. It took him a moment or two to determine how it functioned. It was rather primitive, really.

His appearance was composed, his expression almost completely neutral when he switched on the transmission. He would present the appearance of strength despite the situation he found himself in.]

This is General Hux. Members of the First Order identify yourselves to me immediately.

[Straight to business. There was going to be no small talk.]

I seek answers as to where I am and why I was brought here. I assume there is some purpose to this.

[And with that the feed is cut. He is going to be exploring around Marsiva to find out where exactly he is.]

No one's told you that you aren't staying on the Marsiva the whole time?

There isn't wholly a lot of information we have on the Atroma or the exact purpose here. You've gotten most of the details from others - this is Drift Fleet, a supposed intergalactic television show. We don't know how we got here or why we're still here, what the plans are or anything of that nature. You're on the Marsiva currently, then you'll be put on one of the smaller fleet ships.

[There's a miniguide but he's not really feeling too giving, especially with that attitude on the heels of Winter's mess causing a lot of chaos tbh]

I've been working on a guide for the newbies who show up here, if you want to see that, though.

Doing what is necessary is worth the consequences then.

Uh, tiny, much smaller than the Marsiva, and you will be placed with people who already live there. If you're lucky you're on one that lets you have your own room and some recreation, nice showers, and a good kitchen.

The aliens...? I'm not sure. They're just aliens to me.

Sharing quarters and few diversions is not uncommon aboard a ship.

[He grew up on a Star Destroyer after all, not exactly the most comfortable environment. There aren't exactly big on recreation centers.]

If you've been on them before, no I suppose not. But it's tight quarters all the same, so getting along tends to help things, especially when we go between planets and stations.

I don't see how being likable pertains to doing the job we are assigned here.

[Hux has always been practical, it wasn't one of the things he had been taught during training. Efficiency is always preferred.]

Yeah, the "jobs" we're assigned aren't exactly "jobs". I'm almost not very sure why except it seems to affect certain things on the ship.

I mean it's a fleet, but it's a not 'fleet'. Atroma doesn't much care if we follow procedure as far as I can tell.

How many of these smaller ships are there in the fleet?

[That's his first thought of course, Hux wants to gauge what he's working with here.]

He's the general in charge of the First Order troops. Blew up the entire Hosnian System with a weapon called Starkiller because he wanted to destroy the New Republic government and didn't care how many civilians died in the process.

You could say I know him by reputation. And by blowing up said base under him.

[You can't rush these things, it's a big fleet and youve been here like an hour ok]

Eighteen, so far. Along with the Iskaulit, which no one is officially assigned to, and the Marsiva, which basically no one can get back to once they're sorted, that makes twenty. The Blameless was added recently, the rest have been here for much longer. How many people are on the ship depends on the ship's size and whether or not the Atroma are shoveling excess passengers onto them, evidently.

[You can only gauge so much with the way things change here, Hux. Sorry bruh.]

If there is no proper procedure how does the fleet manage to function?

[This is baffling. He's used to structure, routine, and procedures. Everyone had a function, everyone had a job and it was essential to ensure everything in the fleet functioned.]

He'll probably make a lot of big noises about restoring order to the galaxy. That's what he means. An entire system of planets just wiped away, and the damage is justified because they stood against the First Order.

It's sick. [And Poe is so very, very angry about it.]

An entire system... all those billions of lives... that's horrific!

How is a weapon like that even allowed to exist?
