Action

For just a moment, Anders expression betrays the fact he was thrown off, but it vanishes quickly as he inspects the drink.

It smells sweet and a careful taste tells him he wasn't wrong, yet the taste of alcohol still lingered on the back of his tongue. He did like it and it was stronger than what he'd asked for.

It was unsettling, it wasn't at all what he'd asked for or what he'd professed to enjoy, but, instead, it was something he honestly enjoyed. Hawke knew without Anders telling him, although, he suspected he'd likely told Hawke at some point in the other man's history. For a man who liked to keep his secrets, it was unnerving to find someone who already knew them.

"Impressive, Ser Hawke. I do like it. Very much, as a matter of fact." He would push through the uncertainty and try not to let it rattle him. That was why he was here, after all, to try and lay down the foundation of a bridge he'd destroyed without even realizing it existed.

"Is a knowledge of strong and rich drinks one of your many talents or did it come with the job?"
