[ Since finding out Kurt has died in his own reality, Sascha's been a bit more...attached. Not in the same way he is with the people he surprises late at night with cuddles, although he's certainly done the former with the blue mutant. No, rather than cuddle him Sascha makes sure he's up early in the evenings so that he can find Kurt...and tell him a simple "sleep well" or "goodnight." It's really nothing big or dramatic, but. It makes him feel better, and he hopes the same goes for Kurt.

Which is why, after Wrath's been set-up in the Windrose medbay and Kurt spends almost every moment he can get away with there, Sascha has to try just a little harder to accomplish his mission. The reason: Beverley, who is not much of a fan of his being around anymore after he'd sort of...well. Licked blood off the floor in front of her. After it had come from someone who'd been beaten to a pulp.

So he has to wait until the coast is clear and he can't smell her nearby before he slowly opens the doors to the medbay and pokes his head in. ]

It's Sascha. [The explanation comes with his free hand slipped into Wrath's, though he hasn't processed her fingers wiggling; somehow in the last few days it's become habit to reach for her. That'll be fun when she's out of that bed (and he has every faith she will be), but it's for his future self to deal with.

Sascha's answer has his eyebrows knitting together, and a pang of guilt in his stomach. He's drifted from so many he'd met in his first days here, or just never let them befriend him in the first place.] Herr Wolf? Didn't know the two of you were that close. [They must be, for something like Bigby to let Sascha near him while he's asleep. Briefly, he wonders if Bigby's adopted Sascha the way Kitty has.] I think the lady is well and awake now. Unless..

Darling, do you want us to leave so you can sleep? I'll be right out the door.

[She grips his hand as firmly as she can the moment she feels his fingers. She hates the weakness in her grip.]

...Sascha? [Who the fuck is Sascha? One of Kurt's friends, obviously. Would it be better to not be holding Kurt's hand in front of him then? Is he Kurt's boyfriend? Oh shit.

But at Kurt's offer to leave, she tries to grip his hand harder. It's been worse lately, to be alone. Too much anxiety that she hasn't described because she doesn't want Kurt to worry our feel bad about when he can't be there. And she doesn't quite remember her dreams, but the thought of going to sleep alone isn't one she likes.]

If you'd rather talk alone, you can. But... Don't leave because of me. [She also doesn't want him to feel like she's clinging even if that's all she really wants.]

[ Well he'd go on about how great Bigby is and all, but Wrath seems to be waking up and not too against their being there. He's not exactly good at reading people when it comes to having him around, but if she doesn't mind... He'll hedge his way in a little with one more peek to make sure Beverley isn't around, letting the door slide closed behind him. ]

Hiii...~ I'm Sascha. [ Nice to meet you, bed-ridden lady ]

[Kurt squeezes her hand gently when he feels her trying to grip harder. It makes him worry for the toll this is taking on her; he'd be going brilliantly insane from fear. Despite the many injuries he's accumulated over the course of the wars, Kurt's never been immobilized.]

We'll stay, then. It'll do him good to have female company other than Kitty. [He offers a soft smile as Sascha moves into the room properly. It's on the tip of his tongue to introduce Wrath, but she's bedridden, not mute. She can do her own introducing.]

[The only reason she hasn't lost her mind is because so many people have been willing to keep her company.]

[Sleepy mumble:] oh, is he Kitty's boyfriend too?

[Misinterpretation, whoops.] Hi Sascha. I'm Wrath.

[ LMFAO man, Wrath, he wishes. In an awkward mix of romantic and platonic. ]

Nice to meet you... [ But man, okay. She seriously smells super-familiar, but she doesn't sound or look it. He's trying to place it, but something's just not clicking. ] Your name's kinda scary.

[The question surprises him into a snicker, smile widening as he shakes his head.] Nein, despite her best efforts I don't think she's managed a harem yet. Winn doesn't seem like the sharing type either.

[To Sascha, he flashes a grin.] Oh, she can be, it's one of the things I like about her. Don't threaten her crew and you'll live without seeing it.

[Still a bit sleepy:] But sharing is good. I like sharing.

[Not that she has a boyfriend, so that doesn't count. Oh well. But she smiles.]

Aw, thanks Kurt. [He thinks she's scary, how sweet. She feels the opposite of that right now, thanks to the whole being stuck in traction thing.]

I woooon't~ [ He's never threatened anyone in his whole life. But hey! She seems nice, and if Kurt's being all sweet to her...he'll come hover by the bed as well, looking over her. Uhh. Contraption. ]

[Kurt blinks and decides to attribute that comment by his--Wrath to exhaustion and very good drugs. It doesn't stop him from chuckling and bending to kiss the back of her hand (jesus Kurt, do you even have a spine?)] Oh, I'm going to remind you what you said when you're better.

[And she will be. Kurt will do whatever it takes to be assured of that. Sascha's hesitant question brings his head back up, jaw easing from the determined set it had taken.] There was an.. incident. [That he's going to let Wrath explain as she will, or not. Much as Kurt wants to loose Hell on Winter for daring, it's not his place to. Wrath was the one injured, and he's not her husband or significant other to make choices for her benefit.]

[He's in for a surprise if he thinks she's going to change her mind about sharing. She gives him a slightly vague smile.] As long as you're happy. That's all I want.

Um. I was in an accident and broke my back again. [Like hell she's saying anything about Winter. It wasn't his fault any more than it'll be her fault if she loses her shit. And she cares about him too much to want him to get any more grief than he's already giving himself.]

--Your back's broken?! [ THAT'S KIND OF SERIOUS. Holy crap, no wonder she looks practically mummified. ]

Yeah. It was already all fucked up before so now it's broken again. [So really, it's not Winter's fault. Just not going to say that out loud since she's sticking with the accident line. If she could shrug, she would.] But Beverly thinks maybe this time she can fix it so it heals right, so...

[That's a good thing, right?]

Oh...I know her. She gave me medicine for my eyes once. [ And possibly...never again, whoops. He kind of really ticked her off when he licked all that blood off the floor. ]

If she doesn't manage, we'll find someone who can. [For the first time, Kurt wishes the woman who'd claimed to be a god hadn't vanished as quickly as she appeared. Not that they're anywhere near dire enough straits to make devil's deals, but it would've been nice to have that in his back pocket.

The comment about eyes gets Sascha a raised eyebrow.] Your eyes look fine to me, what's wrong with them?

It's okay, Kurt. No one at home could fix it either, and the medical tech there was mostly better than what we have here. [Just trying to prepare him (and herself) for potential disappointment. She doesn't want any blame on Beverly if it doesn't work. And if it doesn't... maybe it's fate. It takes an impossible decision out of her hands.

But she smiles at Sascha.] Bet it worked. She's the best doctor.

[ Well, since Kurt's asking... ]

I, uhh. Get headaches...? From light a lot...so. [ As in always all the time, whoops. ]
