[ Waking up somewhere unusual isn't the strange part; that's something he's grown depressingly used to in his sorry excuse for a life. But waking up in a place that isn't Konoha, isn't his world, and is instead an uncomfortably familiar confined technological nightmare of a ship with the distinct feeling that something is off is outside his limited comfort zone.

He gets his bearings first before going for his communicator, head further dizzied by a displayed date that doesn't match up with what he remembers. ]

I have a gap in my memory. Is this a normal occurrence here?

[ It's not like it'll take long to arrive at the Blue Fish Bishop anyway, willing to take advantage of the chance to get off of this ship before new or old crewmates decide to assail him with mediocrity. Or just small talk. He fucking hates small talk.

At least upon arrival he has the decency to announce his presence, following up with a short "I'm on the ship" text before heading to the lab and rapping a knuckle against the doorway. ]

[ now that tadashi is on the correct ship, he's anticipating sasuke when he arrives. he stands up, lifting a hand to him in greeting -- he'd already wrapped up whatever it was he was working on earlier. ]
