[ Waking up somewhere unusual isn't the strange part; that's something he's grown depressingly used to in his sorry excuse for a life. But waking up in a place that isn't Konoha, isn't his world, and is instead an uncomfortably familiar confined technological nightmare of a ship with the distinct feeling that something is off is outside his limited comfort zone.

He gets his bearings first before going for his communicator, head further dizzied by a displayed date that doesn't match up with what he remembers. ]

[ Sasuke could ponder whether or not that's an insult or he could hear what he wants to hear. Normally he chooses the latter and this is no different. ]

... there were dreams. [ Though he reveals this in a measured tone, withholding the details. ]

But it doesn't seem like I went home as many others do. There was no new information for me.

[ It's difficult for him to cast back to a time when his dreams weren't unpleasant, honestly, but the life you lead outwardly affects how you feel inwardly, right? He can accept that. ]

All that matters is that they're past now. The quality is less important when it isn't real.
