[Tyrion is sitting behind the bar behind the Malum, and he's giving you all a charming, crooked grin. Yes, because he wants something.]

Good morrow, fellow prisoners. I have been embodied by my employer, Maester Crowley, to find more employees for the Malum. We offer competitive wages, liquor in which you can drink, and if you prefer to be paid in liquor ... I believe we can make an arrangement on that end. The hours are from noon until four in the morning, so an eight hour shift in which to fill those lonely hours staring out into space.

I am looking for applicants that will not steal, will throw out any rowdy customers and who can learn how to mix liquors with mixers to get other forms of alcoholic enjoyment.

Oh ... I think your lack of faith is heartening. It means we've all learned from our mistakes.

[Jennifer grinned sheepishly.]

Sometimes I do need a kick in the butt, and this was a big one. But I'm not going to wait for something else to happen.

[tallasaking]

Good. I do not want to lose any other people because one of us didn't know what to do in case of Atroma stupidity or maliciousness.

[forsometimenow]

That's the idea. ... and it makes me hate Atroma even more for doing this to us. Making us feel like we can't even trust them not to kill us, if they thought the ratings would be right.

[tallasaking]

Now there's a thought. Keeping us alive to wander around as corpses. I truly wish I could say they would not do that, but I do not know.

I was convinced they wanted us healthy til that whole thing with Winter happened. Maybe after spending months in one location, the audience is getting antsy, and they're getting desperate.

[tallasaking]

I find it highly unnerving that they are looking for ways to make this a challenge.

[Is Tyrion's wry response, although the narrowing of his eyes says he had expected it.]

Yeah. I've been half waiting for something like this to happen, though, despite thinking they'd prefer us healthy. Maybe they're getting ready to just drop the nice act and go all out on us.

[tallasaking]

... You know, I certainly wish I could not have already thought of that, but by the amount of weapons I have built, I would say, yes. Yes you are right. Another drink?

[forsometimenow]

Might as well. [Jennifer laughed bitterly.] ... I hate having to think like this. Normally, I have my soldier friends to worry about this kind of thing- I'm just there to patch up the hurts when they're done. But there are so many unknowns here, and they're going to affect all of us at some point.

[tallasaking]

...Well, think of this way, for all the unknowns, we know we can depend on one another. That is not something I can say I have had much experience with -- but we are an army. There is nothing they can unleash on us that we cannot, at least, meet head on.

[forsometimenow]

Mmmhmm. [She nodded.] I know none of us are going to just lie down and take it if they try to wipe us out. And some others are trying to figure out other ways to attack them- more subtle ones.

[tallasaking]

Count myself among them.

Good. I hope something works. There's no way they can prepare for every possible contingency and act of rebellion... right?

[tallasaking]

Of course not. They're not telepathic, and if they were, they've been doing a rather shoddy job at it.

[With all the weaponry that Tyrion has built? Come on.]

It seems like they are sometimes, but we have no proof that they do some of the things they claim- like when they told us they'd shown the audience a montage about our pasts. How could they possibly have done so? No, a lot of their act is smoke and mirrors. They've got to have a weakness somewhere, a way to break off the illusions.
