I have an important request. I need someone who can make cheese. Do cheese makers have an old timey name like cobblers and haberdashers or are those only for clothes? Anyway, calling all of those.

Cheese doesn't seem to be a thing here from what I can tell, but we're just one ingredient away from some really great pizza. I have no idea what cheese requires other than cows or goats or something. I grew up so close to Wisconsin, but I feel like I learned so little.

I would also accept alternative cheese. I know there were vegan kinds made out of hopes and dreams or something I assume. I can pay you or share the finished pizza or do something in trade if I had skills. I could beat someone up for you maybe. [She's not going to do that. Probably.] We'll work it out.

Oh come on Kitty, it's pizza!

I promise not to let it go unmade because of my pride. I'll come to you if we can't figure it out. But I mostly want you to just sit back and relax.

That's a cool gig. [ ok so the owner scared him shitless on his first day but that was mostly winn freaking himself out, he was actually perfectly nice.

he's determined to not feel anything but excitement for her. man, trying to control his feelings as well instead of just his expression and words is hard, it's been 3 seconds and he's already exhausted. it's not that he even have particular feelings to keep at bay, but after the conversation they just had, he's worried about what pettiness could crop up if he let his guard down. ]

You know I was just thinking how boring it is to spend time with a beautiful, brilliant, funny woman who finds me irresistible. This works out great.

[ don't ask him, he has absolutely no idea. ]

[She kisses his neck.] We're such a good couple then.

I'm not sure, but you better not make out with my boss. That's definitely off limits. [Smiling at her own joke.]

Well since we're such a good couple - I guess you can have them.

So, what should our next date be, couple-mate?

Well -- I was thinking - hot springs.

Oooh. I like that. [Going by herself? Meh. Going with Winn? Suddenly an exciting idea. She kisses his cheek.]

[ it's exactly how he felt about it when cisco mentioned the place. on his own? boring. with friends? awkward. with kitty? yes please! ]

[She nuzzles happily.] I should start planning the one after that. [Maybe a pizza party? But she wants to do something romantic.]

Whatever it'll be, I'll love it.

[ because it's planned by kitty for him, and it's time he gets to spend alone with her. how can he not?

he smiles and runs his fingers through her hair. ]

[She loves it when he plays with her hair which he's probably figured out by now even without the planet's help.] Hey, look at us, having important, serious, difficult discussions and then getting back to a really good place. It's like we're adults in a loving relationship.

[ he smiles, because it really is sort of amazing. he brought up not one - but two serious topics he had troubling feelings about in the span of one conversation - that alone is unheard of - and they still managed to turn it around. this must be what a real relationship feels like. he never thought he'd be with someone he could do that with. he really loves her a lot for not letting him shut his feelings in. ]

We're pretty awesome. [ he nods and high fives her. totally mature adult, right here! ]

[She laughs as she meets his high five and then dips in to kiss him.] The most awesome.
