[It's a party!  Or it's an excuse to enjoy yourself and drink with friends, whatever.  Beach, bonfire, booze, birthday cake, and maybe a beach volleyball game sob. Anyone who knows Nami is invited, but if you just want to wander by and get dragged into the festivities, well hey!  It's a public beach.

In short, it's a mingle log for having one hell of a night.  The ponies are in charge of this party, so you just know it's gonna be festive.]

[The edge of his mouth twitches between a frown and a smile. He's had way worse but. He'll listen.] It's really not bad.

[But he'll sit down on the cooler, and smile.] Not bad. I'm glad I came. [He glances down at the present and then holds it out for her.] Oh, here!

[There's a box under the paper, and inside is a pretty necklace and a funny corkscrew. He's a little nervous she won't like them, so he fidgets once she's opening it.]

I hope you like them. I just thought of you with the corkscrew with the Space bar, and then I just thought the necklace was pretty.

Trade you. [She'll give him the cold cloth for his ankle and take the present with good grace. It's not like she thinks he's in serious trouble with that ankle, but nobody wants to wake up in pain after a good party.

Slicing the tape off that wrapping with a fingernail now. She resists the urge to shake it like a small child, instead pulling the box open and peering inside. She sees the corkscrew first and outright snickers, before her eyes light up as she lifts out the necklace.]

I think you've got good taste. That's gorgeous! Thank you, Arthur.

[It even catches the firelight. Hold on, she's just gonna put the box down again so she can put it on.]

He smiles genuinely when she praises the gifts, and he watches her put the necklace on.] Of course. I'm glad you like them. Are you having a good time? It's a great party.

I'm having a great time. The ponies did a great job with such last minute notice. [It's a pity she can't spend it with her crew-- her real crew-- but at least she can celebrate here and forget about it for a while.] I'm particularly amazed at that cake.

[She fishes the corkscrew out of the box and grins.] So I guess I'll take this into work with me.
