Hello, everybody. This is Shirley of the...formerly of the SS Huntress? I'm on the Marsiva again, so the Atroma must have done something. I know people have fallen asleep for a long time before, but I remember Varric...

[Shirley's smile fades, and some of the formality in her demeanor drops away as hesitation takes its place. She's still making an effort to stay positive, though!]

Could anybody please tell me what date it is? As best as we can, around here. I'd also appreciate if somebody could tell me more about what system we're in as well. And of course, if anyone who knows me is seeing this I'd like to hear from you. Has it been a while?

In any case, to everyone - thank you for hearing me now. Whatever's going on outside of the Marsiva right now, I hope you've found something to enjoy here.

[And for anybody else on the Marsiva, she'll just be exploring the ship until it's time for ship assignments and more confetti probably. Shirley barely saw the Marsiva before getting whisked away the first time, so she may as well take advantage of the opportunity now.

And besides, she's been wanting to look for something here. Time to check in all those nooks and crannies...]

Yeah. I don't know how long you'll be on the Marsiva, but when you get off, you should come visit.

If you could send me a list? I'll drop by the planet and add it ASAP.

Ah...we don't need much, really. Are there any oceans on the planet? If there is, anything from there might serve as a stand-in. A shell, maybe.

[Really being close to the water is the main thing, but it feels a little wrong to pray to some other planet's sea. She'll stick with symbols.]

[He holds up a small plastic-like bag filled with shells. They're for Alex, mainly, but he can spare a few.]

But yeah, there's a beach on this planet. What else should I look out for?

Unfortunately. If we're talking about water stand-ins, though, maybe you should talk to Mikleo.

He told me he was a water seraph, so... there might be some common ground.

A water seraph? I've never heard of them. I'll try to remember that in the future.

But I don't think I can do much better as long as we're out here. Being in our sea, close to our water...it's not the same with any different source of water.

It's fine. I just have to believe my words will reach home.

[Probably not. Shirley knows Nerifes better than anyone and its power only extends so far. But better to give thanks for what she has to something that won't hear than to take the continued presence of her eres for granted.]

I think they will. If your Nerifes is anything like Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala, you've got nothing to worry about.
