Video

Who: Bigby Wolf
Broadcast: Fleetwide
Action: You can try and find him about, he's in the forest.
When: Now? Ish?

[Bigby was only shifted long enough to get up the communicator where can see it and respond, so it's the giant wolf at a bit of a distance chatting to the screen.]

I'm curious. I hear people talk about wanting to go home more'n anything, but people I've actually spoken to? I know of about four of us who don't want to go back.

Which side are you lot out there on? Want to go home? Want not to? Don't give a shit?

[Possibly a wrong move, Bigby, that snort only going to encourage Remy to keep going like that.] Actually, I got no clue. I'm adopted.

[There was a shrug of his shoulder.] Ain't 'mportant. [Not really. He had a family that cared for him, well, for the most of it. And he had a home waiting for him, for the most of it. True, his life was a bit of a mess but Remy wouldn't change it, even if it meant not getting abandoned as a baby. Who needed a parent who wouldn't stick around for their infant child when he had an entire Guild at his back?]

Plus ain't it the whole thing to stand out 'nd be unique, couldn't do that if got others hangin' 'round me with the same eyes.

Don't really have that option now days for mutants back home, we kinda got outed in a big way. [He may had been involved in that, even if Remy had no idea his boss was about to reveal them all to the world. He would had much rather stayed hidden, so people didn't know what his eyes meant, to assume they were just contact lenses or something, it was easier that way.

As long as they didn't think he was a demon. That was never fun with growing up in the South.]
Ain't exactly been that fun since. [Though at least Remy could hide behind sunglasses compared to others who had full body physical mutations.]

Yeah, basically. [It summed them up pretty well, considering Remy had learned that they were considered superheroes in other worlds.]

Some call it the next step in human evolution, people with an extra gene or something like that, able to do a range of different abilities or have physical humans don't, like m' eyes, or Darkholme's... like Darkholme. [Sorry Kurt, but you do kinda stand out... or you don't given the situation and how dark it was.]

A team back in m' world even had a fille who could turn 'nto a wolf. Mutation, not werewolf.

Ah, m' mistake, sorry. [Remy hadn't meant to step on toes with that, going with the assumption rather than asking. And he rather hoped it hadn't been a slur against whatever Bigby was then. God knows the amount of times Remy had heard 'demon' or 'freak' thrown his way.]

Oh yeah? [Had Remy heard stories like that before? Maybe from somewhere, some ancient religion or something now considered mythology, it sounded about right.] Well, can't say heard 'bout too many weremen before. [Unlike the vampires that hung around New Orleans, or the ghosts and spirits that clung to certain locations or rituals.

However it wasn't long before his humor got the better of him and Remy was unable to stop himself from asking:]
So does that mean if ya bite something it turns 'nto a human on the full moon?

[Remy gave a bit of a grin and a chuckle at Bigby's reply.] That be a mighty fine reply to such a question. 'nd at risk of annoyin' ya 'nough that ya might think of turnin' those on me, I think 'll leave ya to it.

Hope ya make the most out of our stay, Monsieur Loup.
