[ His first moments, before he catches that he's on camera, mostly involve him sitting up, looking around, and then trying to scamper his way out of the bed -- only to pretty much fall to the floor with a yelp and a "Fuckin' hell--!" for his trouble. It takes him a second to pick himself up, rubbing at his shoulder after the impact... but the second he sees that communicator, and the blinking light on it, you bet your ass he's reaching for it. He can't shut off the video just yet - hasn't quite found the right button to make it stop - but he's at least flipping through what little information he can glean at a first glance. ... He doesn't like what he sees. Well then. Time to address... whoever the hell's watching this shitshow.
And so, there's a redheaded, red-eyed boy on the network now, squinting as he tries to make heads or tails of exactly what he needs to poke at to make it stop recording. But, having no luck with that, he sighs. Then he grins, a little, offers a half-hearted wave before running one hand through his hair. He's clearly trying to smile through the confusion and just roll with the punches. ... You know, for suddenly-in-space level of punches. Goddess...
He shrugs for the camera, clears his throat before speaking. ]
Okaaaay, if this is this a prank or somethin'? You got me. Good job! If it's not a prank, uh... what do you want with me? I mean, I don't know who exactly I'm supposed to be speakin' to, or what's goin' on, so... [ He trails off with another shrug. ] Either way. Mind tellin' me where I am and which way is out of here? 'Cause that would be awesome. Thanks.
[ A beat. And then, a bit of a smirk~ ]
Also, can a guy get a fuckin' drink on this ship-thing? That's a pretty important question, I think.
[ And for anyone else who happens to be on the Marsiva, you'll likely find Eithan spending his time staring out the windows, when he's not bothering with the network and trying to figure out whatever he can, talk to whoever he can, anything to keep the mild panic of being displaced and confused at bay. ]
