So, since people were asking about it, has anyone gone back to the tree after receiving something? It's not likely that you would get something else but - depending on why we got the first thing - there could have been a chance. Entertainment, services given. Who knows.

And hopefully things other than pets were received, because that's all I've heard about so far.

( No, she's seen one or two other things but it has mostly been pets. Lydia got a nice book, though! )

I carried around a book of magic with me all the time, yet that is not what fell into my hands... It would be more useful than a picture, I think.

It was a-- a family portrait. I was only in it very technically, being a newborn and all, but I was there.

[That's a weird way to talk about one's family, but he doesn't remember 3/4 of them, so he doesn't care too much.]

I've been back but haven't gotten anything new.

Just a lot of hand-holding by the locals. So maybe it just depends on your perspective.
