Who: Lydia + open
Broadcast: Fleetwide
Action:
When: 23rd July
So, since people were asking about it, has anyone gone back to the tree after receiving something? It's not likely that you would get something else but - depending on why we got the first thing - there could have been a chance. Entertainment, services given. Who knows.
And hopefully things other than pets were received, because that's all I've heard about so far.
( No, she's seen one or two other things but it has mostly been pets. Lydia got a nice book, though! )

( Monotony. Like things are that boring here )
I got a book. I'm glad not everyone got a pet- it would end up hectic.
( And smelly )
Re: video;
Haha, I did, actually. Beastie Boys.
Which book? Must have been important if you got it from the wishing tree.
[ That sounds so weird to say, you can hear him try and work it out of his mouth, Lydia, and it's obviously something he has trouble with. ]

( She doesn't need it here but it's a nice reminder )

A bestiary?
I... don't think I have heard that term come up in a real life sentence before.

Guess that depends on your definition of them.

Supernatural, huh?

Werewolves? Like people changing into wolves on a full moon werewolves?

[ There's a pause as he digests that. ]
I really want to say that's the strangest thing I've ever heard, but at this point it's really not.

Heh, what's the strangest thing you've seen so far then?

Yeah, I can see that. How exactly did you end up in something like that?

Oh. I knew you had met him, just not where precisely.
[ He laughed softly. ]
I can only imagine how much worse he was than usual. Or perhaps not. He's always happier with his feet planted in real gravity.

Heh, seems like something he would do. We don't have much room for that on the Enterprise, sadly.

You think? Maybe I should push for a real kitchen to get put into the Enterprise, then.

[ tony did not receive a pet, but he's curious. ]

[ bc he can totally do that right
tony hasn't exactly read the captain's manual ]

I... received a portrait that used to hang in my house. I would have liked a book from home, but I did not get to choose.
video;
Is the portrait of you or someone else?

[He huffs.]
It was a-- a family portrait. I was only in it very technically, being a newborn and all, but I was there.
[That's a weird way to talk about one's family, but he doesn't remember 3/4 of them, so he doesn't care too much.]

[It's nice to have something of of his sister, but he'd rather have his sister here.]

I... suppose I never thought about it that way.
Are you one of them?

Just a lot of hand-holding by the locals. So maybe it just depends on your perspective.

[ sucks, sam. because you're going to end up with one and you don't even know it. ]
But I've seen plenty of people grabbing stuff from that tree. No idea if it's seconds or thirds.
Are you trying to get anything specific?
