Who: Uraraka Ochako / OTA
Broadcast: Fleetwide
Action: The Marsiva
When: right now go go go
[So... is the whole stuffing-information-in-your-head somebody's Quirk? Because it's an especially scary one, if that's the case. Ochako can't help poking at the back of her neck, feeling for the augment, with an increasing level of alarm as she wanders through the ship she'd woken up in. The communicator gripped tightly in her hands has been all but useless, too- she's tried to call all the numbers she knows by heart, but they won't connect to anyone familiar. She really does appear to be alone in the middle of nowhere. And- okay, she's always liked space and the sky and stars and whatnot- sort of comes hand in hand with gravity control, she figures. But she didn't expect to ever go there. Certainly not without someone who knows what they're doing.
The communicator keeps flashing at her, though, so eventually she braves sending a message to the masses in the hopes of finding some familiar - or at least friendly - faces. Let's... try smiling...! Yes!]
So, um. That. Sure is a lot of space out there, haha!
I guess nobody out there's got a convenient Quirk that can send me home, huh?

Oh... well, still! That must be an exciting life, then.

[This shouldn't be about him, though. She's young and new and he....doesn't want to talk about it. So he changes the subject.]
If you have questions living like this, though, feel free to ask. I don't have a lot of experience with this fleet, but I do have general experience.

[She's definitely going to have to take note when she's more adjusted to being here. Maybe pass all this assistance forward to someone else.]
Let's see... I feel like I already know a lot because of the augment or whatever it is, but some of the details are fuzzy. It's... a reality show? So we just have to try and make ourselves popular, and we'll get something out of it?
[Those shows are pretty commonplace back home, so she more or less knows the gist of things, but actually living it? Yikes.]

[He has not done anything remotely credit-worthy yet...so he wouldn't know about that. And he's pretty skeptical about the premise of being here. But:]
Though I have seen a couple broadcasts about people getting crates of things. Maybe from viewers. I'm not sure how how much of a reward they were.
[this just in: sponsor drops are dumb.]

[She will have high expectations until she actually gets one and all of her dreams are dashed.]
It'd be nice if there was an exit sign, though... so to speak.

From the Fleet in general? Or from that ship?
[Either one is valid.]

[She already knows it's not an easy thing, but wishful thinking never killed anyone.]

[He's about to say something, starts to look almost serious, when he remembers: yeah, they're kind of being recorded. They live in metal boxes floating through space. Maybe being incendiary where their kidnappers can see isn't the best idea. (Who knows where their kidnappers can't see, though...)
In any event, Felix changes his tack quickly, shrugging.]
You never know. Maybe one'll show up.

[The concept of not wanting to go home has not occurred to her, since she just got here and all.]
no subject
Well, it is reality TV. So it makes sense for someone to eventually be a winner.
[Felix does not believe any of this in the slightest.]/small>

That wouldn't do much good for everyone else here, though. If winning means going home, and there can only be one winner, what happens to the rest?
Escaping would be much better!

[SMALL CHILD DON'T TALK OPEN REBELLION]

Well, I'm not saying it'll be easy... but anything is possible, right?
no subject
I guess anything is possible.
[But also he's leaning forward now, looking at the screen (and her) somewhat intently. Please understand his unspoken message. Plz.]

blame All Might.
The lean is meaningful enough that she's starting to get the feeling that he's... not entirely on board, so she changes tactics.]
A-anyway! Thank you for the advice. It's nice of you to help out a newcomer like me.

[It helps that she's young. He may not show it, but he's got a soft spot for kids stuck in situations like these. Well. The polite ones, anyway.]

My name is Felix, by the way. If you have any other questions.
