Action: Tyrion's making his way around the Fleet. Hi Friends.

Having an engineering augment had seriously helped him with the ability to have some breathing space on the rather overly metal surfaces of the First Breath. Not that he didn't love his ship - honestly he spent as much time there chatting up Lily and Hawke as he did sleep.

Let's face it, Tyrion wasn't much for sleeping. So when he wasn't working on the Engineering of the ship (hour or two, tops), or his own projects (four to five depending on how late he stayed up), then managing the bar (eight hours), he still had time on his hands. So he would take that shuttle, and head out into the deep dark (don't think about it, do not even think about not having air), to visit.

If you are expecting a handsome - well at least charming - dwarf, do feel free to open your airlocks. No worries, he can break in if necessary.

"You could ask around, I know a few people who gave their girlfriends flowers as gifts." 'Knew' because he had been one of them, though he hadn't opted for roses in the end. But surely someone had seeds or something left over that could be used in Tyrion's creation.

[tallasaking]

"Hmmm ... it's not a bad question to ask. I shall have to put it up after I am done doing my soil and water tests." He rubbed his chin thoughtfully. "I want to make sure it doesn't leak before I try growing anything in it."

[beathach]

"That's probably a good idea." Testing it first was always an important step before proceeding to actual testing, after all. "You know Margaery? That's Winn's friend, right?"

Little does he know . . .

One corner of Tyrion's mouth lifted up at that question, "Better than Winn, I would guess. If only because she is my niece-in-law."

Hank blinks, surprised. The only one he knows from Westeros is Tyrion, but he's only heard of Margaery from Winn, when they were bonding over having little adopted sisters. "Ah - yeah, I'd say you do."

[tallasaking]

Tyrion waved his hand a little, "Westeros is a large place, but you'll note most of the people who have come here are nobility, and the nobility all knows one another. We're rather clannish, for large houses that fight so often. Beyond that, Margaery and I have become better friends here."

[beathach]

"I'm glad to hear that." He can't be too surprised; after all, his and Erik's relationship certainly improved thanks to their last kidnapping. "You're the only one I've met from Westeros, though. Ah - so far, anyway. I only know of Margaery because she came up in conversation a couple of times."

[tallasaking]

"Ah-hah ... well you should meet her, then. You would be as charmed with her as everyone else is. She is quite delightful." Is Tyrion's firm response on that one, because she is quite delightful. "But anyways - why did you bring her up?"

[beathach]

"That's what I've been told." He wants to meet her, and the next opportunity he gets he will certainly try to. If Winn is so fond of her, it only makes sense. He wants to meet his friend's adopted little sister. "You mentioned that you were growing the rose for her."

[tallasaking]

"Then you have been told truthfully." He nodded his head, "When I told her of the project, she asked me to grow her a rose. That I shall, and will do. She's been a good friend."

[beathach]

"I'm glad. So being here has given you two the opportunity to grow closer?" It was nice to hear things like that; that despite this place ripping them from their worlds, people were making the best of it.

[tallasaking]

"It has - much more than when we were together in King's Landing. I consider her a dear friend, someone I know can understand my notably wicked sense of humor." Which with Tyrion, was a must.

[beathach]

"Ah. And that's a very important requirement." He grins over the thank at Tyrion. "But I'm glad for you two. I keep hearing that - this place giving people opportunities they wouldn't have back home, and along those lines. It's one of the benefits of the Fleet, I suppose."

He "supposes", but he's right there two, reveling in the second chance he has with Raven, too.
