Having an engineering augment had seriously helped him with the ability to have some breathing space on the rather overly metal surfaces of the First Breath. Not that he didn't love his ship - honestly he spent as much time there chatting up Lily and Hawke as he did sleep.

Let's face it, Tyrion wasn't much for sleeping. So when he wasn't working on the Engineering of the ship (hour or two, tops), or his own projects (four to five depending on how late he stayed up), then managing the bar (eight hours), he still had time on his hands. So he would take that shuttle, and head out into the deep dark (don't think about it, do not even think about not having air), to visit.

If you are expecting a handsome - well at least charming - dwarf, do feel free to open your airlocks. No worries, he can break in if necessary.

"They look like lizards." Is Tyrion's rather dubious answer, "Millions of years -- yes I suppose it would take that long for a chicken to go to a giant ... chicken."

He paused, before he answered frankly, "I always wanted a dragon as a child."

It's never not going to be a funny mental image, and it's made all the better when you happen to know a talking magical chicken yourself. Knowing Chauntecleer's ancestors were monstrous is great when he's such a little squawky thing. "The bigger birds have a closer resemblance."

But ostriches aren't nearly as fun to eat as chicken, and they kick. Hard.

"Why would you want a dragon?" She asks. "Aren't humans normally scared of them?"

Well I suppose eagles would be more intimidating if one considers they come from giant ... hawks. Without wings. Or at least slightly more threatening." Tyrion mused, before he started to move further into the cargo bay.

"Humans normally are - but I have always been obsessed with them." He answered frankly. Of course I was also obsessed with fire, so ... yes."

She follows after him, still trained on the basket and not really caring whether this is considered normal or if it's trespassing.

"I can't say I'm a fan of fire. It's an unpleasant way to die," she says thoughtfully. "... Thinking about it, my experiences with dragons aren't much better."

He tosses a look over his shoulder at her, arching an eyebrow. "Is that why you try to hunt and eat them? So they stop setting you on fire?"

Renart only gives him a serious look in response. "No. I had a friend whose hobby involved defeating every monster he could find."

And she tagged along, because why not?
