[For the last several months, Wrath's been out and about in the ship less and less as her back got worse and then finally got shattered. And now? She's everywhere. If anyone thought her rather enthusiastic attitude was just that, be prepared to be shocked and awed at the apparent level of hyperactivity.

She barely seems to be in her cabin at all, probably because she's spent so much time in bed over the last months. Instead she's either in the armory (poor Tenno), on the bridge, or in the cargo bay. While she still draws sometimes in the cargo bay, more often than not she's stretching and doing physical therapy exercises, then later working into calisthenics. All that pent-up activity is finally being let out.

On the rare moments you can get Wrath to calm the fuck down and sit for five minutes, she'll draw, or knit, or play chess. That's a good way to get her to pause. And she's eating. It's an effect of her nanobots having to do so much work lately and her synthetics ramping up, but she's eating everything that's not on fire or nailed down. If you want to save your leftovers, write your name on them.

There are also new expansions to the Windrose zoo. While she's still giving Officer Snuggles all the training and love he needs, she takes time to fuss over her fluff slug Fluffernoodle. And then there's Jellybean, who often rides on her shoulder or stuck down the front of her jumpsuit.

Or best yet, you might see Officer Snuggles tearing around the ship with the kitten clinging to his tactical fox vest. They look like they're having a great time.]

[In contrast to the exuberant First Mate, the Captain is subdued, serious, and still smarting from his trip back home. He's added a particularly cute aquatic fluff slug to his kelp tank in the cargo bay, and the few times he seems to be in a good mood are when he's carrying it around flopped over on his shoulder. Still, as always he can be found on the bridge during set times every day so his crew can approach him with any concerns.

More and more, though, he's spending time in his own quarters. The door is usually open, and anyone looking for the Vision can find him in a very different-looking room: his gift from the tree wasn't something from home but a change to the ship. Anyone who had visited one of the homes built directly into a tree on the hand-holding planet would recognize the new state of his room. It's been completely reskinned to have living wood cover every surface, a soft bed of vines instead of a mattress, luminescent fungi in place of lights, and tiny plants everywhere. It smells alive in here in a way nowhere else on the ship--except the middle of his gardens--does. No wonder he's been hanging out here....]

[Natasha probably should have come by sooner. The last time she saw Vision, he had been unconscious, and Barnes had gotten back more of his memory. That was a thing that begged following up on—and she does, eventually, tracking him down to his room.]

Nice. [She observes mildly.] Not exactly what I expected, but nice.

[Even with spending so many nights on the Tourist and afternoons on the Iskaulit, Kitty has been a pretty permanent fixture on the Windrose while they were docked on the moon. She'd had little desire to go there after some initial exploring. The hand holding planet, on the other (held) hand was a completely different story. She's dropped some things off in her room for safe keeping and naturally attended anything necessary or asked of her by the captain and crew, but she spent her days and nights on the planet. The last couple of weeks of which have been rough with Winn in an Atroma-induced coma, but he's awake now and it felt like time to check on things and see some faces she hasn't seen.

New to her room is a picture of her mom and dad she got from the voyeuristic tree, a yellow fluffy slug, lots of new clothes, and a stuffed dinosaur Winn won for her at the carnival. New to the kitchen is ALL THE FOOD. She hoarded so many edible nuts she might be part squirrel. There's more than that, but they last for awhile so it seemed like a good choice to include.]

(OOC: And any day now they might be in space again or docked somewhere new, but feel free to tag here anytime this month. I can always write a more specific starter for it!)

[It's been awhile since she's actually seen her fearless leader so she makes sure to look through the ship until she finds him in his room with the door open.]

Woah. Mold is no joke. You really do have to clean your dishes right away. [Okay, so she knows whatever happened here wasn't mold, but she definitely wasn't expecting it.]

[The Vision looks surprised at the voice - and then pleased when he confirms who it is.]

Agent Romanoff. Please come in.

[He gestures for her to join him; because it's the captain's cabin, he actually has some room and a chair for a guest instead of a tiny bunk like the others.]

I found it had changed after I returned from the giving tree, as I didn't have anything from home I'd particularly missed.

[Because what are personal possessions?]

[Pft, like he uses dishes (or eats at all). The Vision smiles at her and gestures her inside.]

It's the gift of the tree down on the planet, actually. What do you think?

[Shortly after Wrath's visit to the tree, the Vision encounters her in the cargo bay as he's headed over to check on his plants. There's a new addition, though, who meows pathetically at him and gets his attention.]

Good afternoon, Wrath. Can this be Jellybean?

[He'd heard about the kitten before, and it sure looks like an adorable little calico....]

[Inside she will go!]

I think...it's unique. Nice departure from the rest of the ship. [She isn't sure she'd actually want to sleep in it, but he doesn't really sleep so where's the problem.] I didn't know it gave gifts like that.

[Exactly. And the only difference besides superficial appearance is that the air smells fresher in here, less processed and more like a planet's atmosphere.]

Neither did I, as it happens. It's similar to some of the houses I'd visited there.

[He tilts his head to one side.]

May I ask if you received anything?

[Just the question brings a smile to her lips.] Yeah. It's a photo of my parents. [Nothing could have meant more to her short of actually having them back.] It's in my room if you want to see it sometime.

I'd like that, if you don't mind. And--I'm glad.

[He leans back up against the wooden walls, doing it more for effect than for any physical need. He's been making more and more gestures like that lately.]

I don't recall if you've heard or not, but I received some new memories of home recently.

I don't mind at all. [She'd be happy to show them off. It's emotional, but good emotional.]

You did? No, I didn't know. [She shifts, looking concerned.] How much time? Are you okay?

[The Vision nods again, expression melting back into seriousness.]

Just over a year.

[Effectively doubling his age, as she'll be aware. Her last question causes a noticeable hesitation.]

It would be a great deal to process even if little of note had occurred. As it is, I was only narrowly talked out of doing something drastic, such as resigning my command temporarily.

[ It's easy enough to locate Wrath once Charles has boarded the ship. She has a very specific pattern to her thoughts that singles her out from the rest of the crew. ]

Did you buy new paints?

[ He had originally come to visit Wrath . . . but he sees no reason not to visit Vision as well. Especially since Vision helped with his new chair.

Charles hasn't tried to read Vision. It comes off as strangely static-y and . . . alien. There's another voice layered in those thoughts and Charles isn't interested in learning more.

Thankfully, he was lucky enough to catch him at the Cargo Bay. ]

Ah, you took one of those slugs too.

Oh, Vision, wow. I'm glad Wrath or whoever it was talked you out of it.

I did see Winter. I know he has more memories. [She's been worried about him and since some of them are bound to overlap she figured she should mention it.]

You invited me to come by before—seemed like as good a time for it as any.

[Somehow, the fact that he didn't have anything with sentimental value doesn't surprise her; of course, Natasha hadn't even looked for the tree. Didn't seem worth it.]

Especially considering the last time I saw you, you were unconscious.

Kara did, as a matter of fact. [And Leto had set the groundwork, but he hadn't been fully convinced until his talk with Kara. His eyes narrow in concern just thinking about it. They might yet have to deal with Captain Wrath if something were to cause him to reconsider.]

We've jumped to the same point in time, I think. It's 2016 now, and--hm. The relevant part is that tensions between us will be running higher if Captain Rogers and Mr. Stark gain the same memories. Currently, it's only myself, Wanda, and Bucky who remember.

[Who the hell is Bucky?]

[Just as well Charles doesn't pry too much, really. The last thing he would want is for someone to get in over their head with the Mind Stone. He's reasonably sure he could prevent anything untoward from happening--but he also doesn't know the full extent of Charles' power.

As it is, he nods to Charles in greeting.]

I did. They're easy enough to care for, and I already had the tank. [He picks up the fluffy little guy and holds him in the crook of his arm.] As well, I find the calming effect useful; I don't know that you've met Ordis, but he's rather high-strung.

[He inclines his head.] Welcome to the Windrose, then.

[Yeah, he sure was. The Vision winces slightly, remembering.] You were a witness to that, then? It was far from my most graceful moment, but I seem to have recovered--along with some additional memories.

[She knows the Bucky thing. Between knowing James briefly and Winter and then realizing Steve was actually the Captain America her grandfather used to tell her stories about when she was still young and had a family she figured it out. Of course he was also trying to kill her when it all came together so there wasn't time for a lot of fangirling.]

Yeah, he said things would be bad with Tony if he knew. [And she knows why. Murdered parents aren't something you ever get over. At least ~~Batman~~ she hasn't.]

Why did you feel like you'd need to step down because of it?

You and Barnes both, then.

[She's not really surprised by that. This is all entertainment, isn't it? If it doesn't seem like a coincidence, then it probably isn't.]

Should I ask? So far, everyone's been pretty tight-lipped about what's coming.

I have not. Though I have two of those slugs in my room. Watching them react to my telepathy is fascinating.

[He nods and seems to deflate a bit.]

In a battle recently, I...became distracted. Responding to a call for help from an ally, a miscalculation on my part caused me to shoot him down instead. He may never make a full recovery.
