[ some of you may have noticed that winn has been uncharacteristically quiet for the past...16 days. he's not really sure how to address the elephant in the room - he knows these two weeks and change have been hard on the people he loves but for him it's like no time has passed and the dissonance is hard to bridge.

it's a good thing he has a not at all unhealthy coping mechanism set in place. ]

Ah, she's not really picky. I got her pie - and that was a big hit.

[She would arrange for Kitty to have meat, she likes the lady that much, but ground meat stuffed in intestines might be a bit beyond her sensitivities, let alone named after cute little puppies. So bless you, Winn.]

It was cherry-ish? Some local fruit from the planet, but it was reminiscent of cherry. She liked everything we ate there, though.

I've heard Finn mentioned - [ once, by kitty, when they were making silly rhymes with 'winn'. they didn't talk much about him because, well, talking about another guy wasn't really appropriate on their first planet date. he's forgotten about it, but hearing him mentioned now makes him wonder who that guy is. so many unfamiliar names - he feels like he knows so many people because back home his social circle is so small but the truth is...he really doesn't. ]
