[The Stalker has taken to sulking in the lab. First the fight with the Tenno went poorly; now someone has been spying on him through his own communications equipment. Well, him and the crew, but one of those is far more upsetting than the other.

So, as much as he pretends that he's reviewing the compromised logs in order to help the crew, he's really trying to pinpoint what this unknown enemy knows. Don't trust him.]

How could this have happened?

[ Leto saunters in. ]

There is no "how".

There is always "how."

[This is no time to be cryptic. He wants answers and he wants them now.]

Not with these people. You won't find one so easily.

A "why" might yield better results.

But if I do not know how, I cannot prevent a second invasion.

[ He cocks his head. ]

Because he has learned. And adapted. You won't catch up to him this way.

[ Leto sighs. ]

[ That gets Leto's attention on him for a bright piercing second - as if he's looking to gauge the truth before he chuckles softly. ]
