[ Leaning forward, she kisses his head gently. ]

It's a wonderful idea. I'll check the lab to see if there's any bronze for you, okay?

[ His eyes flutter. ]

[ Leaning back, though, she gives him a sly little grin. ]

I suddenly felt a chill going down my spine.

You just have to help me convince Erik to take a photo with us.

[ He blinks before nodding. ]

No promises, but I should be able to.

Then that's all I have to ask.

[ Lifting her hand, Raven points to the photo frame on the shelf above the bed, where there's two spots missing. ]

One for me, you, Hank and Erik and one for me and you.

It sounds like you have it all planned out.

Are you saying you don't want to be in my photo frame, Charles Xavier?

[axiomed]

I would never imply such a thing. I know what's good for me.

[athru]

That's better. [ Raven's smile hasn't wavered at all, but it softens now, her expression gentle. ] We need to get you some for your locket, too.

I can probably make a copy of the ones you'll take. That should be fine.

Even if I pull a really, really stupid face?

Especially if you pull a stupid face.

I suppose I can leave the stupid faces for another time.

[ She grins, leaning forward so she can push her fingers through his hair, absent and fond. ]

Absolute thousands.

[ He tilts his head slightly at that. ]

I doubt these things can hold that many.

There can be five hundred on mine, five hundred on yours, five hundred on Erik's...

[ She's grinning, though, and she's quick to shift over, leaning to start wrapping her arms around Charles and pressing close. It reminds her of being young and the casual intimacy they shared then, and she basks, for a moment. ]

Good luck getting Erik to consider that.

[ Charles leans against her quietly, his fingers running over her scales. He's a tactile person by nature. ]

[ She's practically on top of him, but they're both used to it, she thinks. ]
