Fast. Not as fast as your Flash, but very fast. Why?

Just wondering how righteously bitter I have a right to be. You know, it's getting harder and harder to just be a normal human being around all of you super-people.

[ squint ]

How fast is very fast? Are we talking past the speed of sound or the regular 50 miles?

You shouldn't be. Being human is a privilege and many people would easily trade what they have for it.

[ Leto shrugs. ]

I've never measured it.

Yeah, I have a feeling I know what you mean.

[ how he misses the days before the vibes came and gave him both nightmares and daymares. He still remembers how haunted he felt ( still does ) over the one of Dr. Wells reaching into his chest, killing him. ]

Don't you want to? dude, you should at least find out your limits. Aren't you excited to find out what you can do?

[ he sure is. ]

Not particularly.

[ The abilities of the worm are not his interest. And Leto has a low opinion of his skills. They're useful, necessary. But none of them are truly his, just add-ons. ]

[ he spreads his arms, obviously not computing ]

but the science of it. I mean, who knows what you could do. You could be your own brand of superhero. We can't find a good codename if all those awesome abilities go entirely unexplored. Unless they're creepy, are they're creepy?

[ 'cause cisco knows a lot about creepy powers. ]

As far as I know, they are not "creepy" beyond making me look slightly disfigured.

[ But he shrugs. ] But I never tested its full capabilities. Why would I? I chose this out of necessity, not because I am good or heroic. I chose because someone had to. Someone had to help.

Ok so not creepy, totally safe.

[ cisco. not creepy =/= totally safe, gosh. ]

......dude wanting to help makes you good and heroic in my book. I mean, what is a hero except someone who really wants to help? I mean, if people here needed your help, you could use those powers but it'll help to know their limits so you won't go overboard.

[ He's less sure. But it'll be centuries until the full metamorphosis is done and by then, it's a moot point to those who knew him before. ]

I tend to leave that to those who are more . . . pure of heart. But I suppose I'm not against learning my limits.

[ he raises a fist. bump it, go on. ]

[ He smiles, a little shy as he bumps his fist against Cisco's. ]

so, I am sort of an expert in this whole aiding superheroes discover just how super they are. I'll prepare a series of tests, you'll do them and we'll see. Wish I had Caitlin to help me out with the details but if I'm flying solo, at least I'm flying free.

[ and yes, he totally did quote defying gravity at you, leto ]

Decent, I suppose. Better at singing than snacking.

Well, see? you already qualify. Hank always gives us a headache about the songs since he's basically an eight year old and will only sing oldies. I mean, you'd expect my dramatic singing of Let it Go to inspire him to greater heights.

I'm sure he'll catch up eventually.

I can sing songs in all languages too.

Oh, you bet it is. We're going to conduct one soon. The greatest competition of all time. I think it should be according to themes - my idea was Cisco Disco Night but nobody seemed to be rolling with it.
