[Local vendors have been generous enough to loan the use of their ovens and some long wooden tables for the clearing. Sure enough, there's dozens of pies, plain or topped with meat or vegetables or both. There's also jugs and jugs of fruit juices and lemonade and punch, and an equally bountiful dessert table including apple tarts, cakes, donuts, and yes, chimmy cherry chongas.
