Early this morning, a video might interrupt whatever you're doing. On one side of the screen, there's a beautiful lady with light brown hair. On the other, the pinkest pony ever to have walked the multi-verse.

Hey hey HEY, everybody! It's the start of a new month, and we've had a GREAT time on this planet so far, especially with all this yummy real food! Sooo Kitty and I have been planning a pizza party!

Um, right. So, you should come. I guess. [She doesn't know how to do group invites with ponies. What is life?]

We'll be in this HUGE clearing at THESE coordinates, so bring some smiles, your stomach, and maybe a side dish or snacks if you want too! We'll see you there! And Wrath: we've got chimmy cherry chongas~!

We had to use a few substitutes, but it's still pizza, so you know today's priority. Also a good time to check it out if you've never heard of it.

[Local vendors have been generous enough to loan the use of their ovens and some long wooden tables for the clearing. Sure enough, there's dozens of pies, plain or topped with meat or vegetables or both. There's also jugs and jugs of fruit juices and lemonade and punch, and an equally bountiful dessert table including apple tarts, cakes, donuts, and yes, chimmy cherry chongas. And the best part is there's not a single gel-based ingredient in sight. Feel free to add something to the bounty or just come in, grab a slice, and enjoy!]

I care a lot about you too. [She pets the back of his hair gently. She does feel very protective toward him. Not so much that she thinks he'll get hurt physically the way she protects some people, but worried for his heart.]

[ Oh...oh no, Kitty, that's so sweet and Sascha literally doesn't know what to do with that feeling. It makes his chest feel all tight and uncomfortable, in both a happy and sad sort of way. He's never felt that from someone else about himself and it's honestly humbling as all heck.

So he's going to hug her tighter with a flustered sound. ]

[She feels how that surprises him and he doesn't know what to do with it. Only making her more protective of him since he's had it so rough.] It's okay. [Rubbing his back.]

[ He's literally floundering simply because he's never had anyone to worry about like Kitty does for him, and therefor no way to have felt what she feels for him before. It's a little overwhelming but in a good sort of way--it has to be, because it's from Kitty. ]

I'm sorry, I'm... [ He babbles, not really sure what he's apologizing for. Or why. ]

Hey, you have nothing to apologize for. Not to me. [She can feel the confusion it brings, but she thinks he'll work it out and is just going to be supportive while he does.]

[ She has no much faith in him. Sascha doesn't even have that much faith in himself. All he wanted to do was reassure her and then...this. All of this.

[It's strange to feel that adoration for her through the link. Almost like what Winn feels.]

Hey, I stocked the Windrose with some raw meat so there will be snacks for you when you visit. I hope it's still okay for you if it's been frozen. [It has to keep somehow.]

You--did?? For me...? [ What he means to ask is if she really did that just for him, because if so? He is entirely touched by the gesture a little blown out of the water by it. That's a whole new level of consideration to receive, and for her to go out of her way like that for him, just so he'll have something to eat... ]

Well, I'm not going to tell my shipmates they can't have any, but I was thinking of you when I arranged for it. [By arranged she means she went hunting which is not her favorite thing.]

I--y, yeah! I'm just....really happy....! [ Which comes out sounding not at all happy and more like he's about to warble or whimper or something, but he really is overflowing with joy inside, touched and endeared by the inclusion--that they'd even want him to eat with them.

The only person he ever eats with is Bigby. He's always assumed no one else would want to, given his diet. And here she is, like it's a given that he's to be part of something important (to him) like that. ]

[She feels like she understands the reaction. So happy he's overwhelmed.] We're happy to include you. [In snacks, not in bed!]

I...well....no, but... [ Sascha worries infinitely more about others than himself, and Kitty will be able to tell: his own desires and wants aren't even included in his thinking. It's just what Kitty or Winn would. ]

So for you the way we eat is weird, but you don't make a big deal out of that. We won't either.

Even though it's just...meat?? And not cooked? [ Sascha really needs the reassurance here ]

Of course. I've had sushi before. It's raw fish. It's not a big deal.

Soo...she?? [ Oh, Kitty. You've hit a pay-dirt milestone here. ]

It's a Japanese dish. It's mostly raw fish and sticky rice. The point is, people eat all kinds of things and I'm not going to judge you.

You mean--you mean, sometimes humans eat...they eat stuff that hasn't been cooked? Like me?

[ And it's the "like me" that matters the most here. Sascha wants desperately not to be different, to be just like those he's supposed to be. This is validation, more than he could ever hope for. ]

Sometimes. That's right. [She can see this is meaningful to him. She can feel it.]

[ Like an open book, he's clinging to her every word and when she confirms it--he can feel she's telling the truth even though he'd never doubt her--there's a rush of elation and relief and freedom, disbelief and shock and awe that he can't contain--because maybe, just maybe he isn't so monstrous or different from a human.

But instead of saying all that? He just goes, ]

Wow...... [ Shell shocked. And overjoyed with relief. ]

[Eloquent as always. Actually, it's interesting to feel just how much is going on because he often reacts to these moments with few words. She assumed a lot was still going on in there though. And it does seem like it's more feeling than thought.]

Maybe we'll find a place that has some. [This place may have had the makings for it. There's a beach. She could have tried fishing, but she also doesn't know how to prepare sushi or how you know if it is safe to eat, so she passes for now. Plus, the Atroma will whisk them away very soon.]
