Yeah -- eating the thing that wanted to eat me may be poetic but -- [ he scratches his head lightly ] poetry was never really my thing. Poor Rexy, she was cool while she lasted.

[ yes she's a she. all the dinosaurs on the island are females. we've engineered them that way, it's really not that difficult. ]

Well, I convinced him that in an infinite multiverse, it's possible for there to be some way he doesn't know of because it didn't exist in his dimension to ease his hunger and that there are other immortals to keep him company when we find that way, so in case it's not a malfunction he agreed to not die or bust out til I give up on trying to find it. [ which they both know won't happen because giving up when the stakes are that high isn't in winn's programming. even though...he hasn't been able to glance at the research to go home yet since the attack. he's convinced himself it's because he's simply busy, there are other more immediate needs, but the truth is he's scared. scared that this was another warning shot from the atroma, and that the next one will take his head off. ] So, not a bad day's work.
