Who: Jon Snow (and bonus appearance from PUPPY)
Broadcast: fleetwide
Action: Three Twins
When: present whoop
[video]
[Surprisingly, Jon's not the first thing you see--or hear--for this feed. Instead, what happens is that whoever's tuning in now gets a screen full of wet nose and white fur. Clearly, Jon's wolf pup Ghost's curious about this strange device, and has somehow managed to record himself. He sniffs at the screen a little more, then pads back enough to reveal that he's currently in the engine room.
It should probably be noted here that, while this is happening, there's some very, very loud music playing in the background. Some listeners, especially ones from Earth, might be able to figure out that the music sounds suspiciously similar to a certain song from the early 2000s--though the lyrics and the voice is definitely markedly different from the song they might remember.]
What are you doing with that? [And there's Jon now, feet stepping into frame before he kneels down, a look of fond resignation on his face.] How did you even get it to work?
[Ghost does not answer. Instead, he gently headbutts Jon's ankle. He demands scratchies.
Jon, with a chuckle, glances at the comm, then reaches out a hand to turn it off.]
[text]
has anyone else besides the Golden found something on their hailing arrays that shouldn't be there?
and does anyone want some discs? I've taken all that I need from this "gift", there's enough left over for whoever else might be so inclined to listen to them.
[action]
[For everyone on the Three Twins, Jon can be found near the comm array, looking the whole system over with a fine-toothed comb. He's not going to be able to find and pull out the bug by himself, if there even is a bug, but if no one comes by to help, then he's damn well going to try.
That, or blasting that goddamn music--or its various remixes, or even something like this except by Your Biological Romance, which is totally not a rip-off what are you talking about, and its various remixes, or, well, you get the picture--from either the engine room or his room.
He can also be found the cargo bay, where, surprise surprise, there's an opened crate just full of CDs, and also fiddling around with a CD player that seems to have two settings: off or loud as hell.
The CDs aren't even full albums, mind--there's like twenty copies of "Come Join My Dark Parade", "Honey I'm Going Down Fighting", "Convoluted", and other such classics from a record company that apparently liked Jon enough to send him a gift. How kind of them.]

Video
Your little friend has quite the interesting taste in music.
Video
It's mine, my lady. [Which is not the part he's embarrassed about, but rather:] They were considerate enough to have sent along something for me to play it on, but not so considerate as to have included more than two settings.
no subject
My lady? How very polite, and how very inconsiderate of them. I am guessing the second setting is... "off?"
no subject
He makes a face.] Aye, it is.

And here I thought that noise was your own screeching. I suppose I should be pleased I was wrong.
[ THIS ONE'S FOR YOU, TIMMY AGE 8. ]
not here

[And all is right with Timmy's world again, because Jon is right back to being snippy at Theon.]
video;
Would you like to try again, Snow? Maybe you can come up with a smarter response.

Action
Until today.
Music like he's never heard before blasts down the hall, loud enough that he can hear the lyrics through the med bay door. Or maybe it's the vents carrying sound, either way it's making Ser Drools whine and Ser Pounce knead fitfully at the comatose Anders' chest, even if Hawke himself doesn't have a problem with it.
So to calm the animal populace, Adalwolfe makes his first non-utilitarian trip out of the med bay and towards the source of the music.]
Uh, Jon?
[There's no way he heard him over this volume. Adalwolfe takes a deep breath.]
JON!
Action
Yeah, Jon heard him, because the noise suddenly just stops. There's only two settings on this thing, apparently: off and I can't hear myself think.
Jon himself opens the door a moment later, looking somewhat haggard. Ghost takes the opportunity to run out of there to look for the rest of the ship. Maybe hang out with Ser Drools.]
Is something wrong? [He says this with the tone of someone who is well aware what that something is and is rapidly reconsidering all his choices.]
Action
No. Well, I mean, sort of. Your music was a bit loud.
[And the understatement of the year award goes to...]
Are you alright? You look like you haven't slept in a month.
[Not that Adalwolfe looks too much better, dark circles under his eyes and all.]

[Bran is horrified and confused. What is going on??? He leans closed to the camera like it might help him understand that strange noises.]

[And he relates, okay.]

Their instruments are strange. [In a "rocks falling on livestock" kind of way.] I prefer Mumford, and his sons.

Yes. It's this girl. She knocks on the doorway to maybe get his attention, if it can be heard over the music. ]

I'd change it, [he says, at last] but I'm afraid most of this "gift" is as loud as this one was.

Good to see you found some nice, calming music.
[Interesting artwork. Flip. Flip. Sorry would John like to know how to shut it off? As Vash doesn't seem inclined to share.]
[Action]
Jon doesn't say anything, just gives Vash a look that means he doesn't quite believe him. Eventually, he gets out a particularly disbelieving:] Thank you.
[Action]
You do know listening to music this loudly can make you lose your hearing, right?
