[when the feed flips on, it focuses on a crate on the smaller side, but clearly yet another sponsor drop. Only this time, it appears to be full of brushes, of all shapes and colors and sizes. There's also a note attached on top:

"Because normal brushes are just infuriating. Keep that blue fur shiny with these purrfect alternatives!"

there's a heavy sigh from behind the camera and a mutter, just audible enough to be picked up by the microphone]

Someone thinks they're being funny.

[another sigh, and the camera turns around, focusing on a woman's face. Reluctantly, it seems, because she looks incredibly awkward and uncomfortable]

Anyway - I know some people have pets on the fleet, so if you'd like a brush for their fur, feel free to come over to the Blameless and pick one up. I certainly won't be keeping them.

[she goes to turn the feed off, then pauses]

Also, Winn? This is your fault. Get over here so I can blame you properly.

[and with that, the feed disconnects]

[ Frown. ]

You are. It's not a bad thing.

[ Stop that. She's weak to them. ]

[ She's joking, look at her. She's secretly touched. ]

... Maybe I'll wait. You're too cute like this.

[ And she smiles, kissing Hank's jaw. ]

H-Hey. That's - I'm not too cute.

[athru]

I think you're very cute.

[beathach]

You're being biased again . . .

[athru]

Nope.

[ She grins, leaning in to kiss her nose. ]

[beathach]

You are.

[his nose wrinkles] Completely biased.

[athru]

Would you rather I didn't tell you I liked you?

[beathach]

I - well, no. I mean, either way I know how you feel.

[athru]

Good. [ Reaching out, she takes Hank's hand gently. ] Do you want to go and hide away with me for a few hours until you're a bit more comfortable?

[beathach]

[he squeezes her hand]

Yeah - yeah, I do. I could use the break.

[athru]

Come on. Let's go and lie down for a bit and pretend the world doesn't exist.

[beathach]

That sounds like a great plan.

[he hops off the crate, keeping hold of her hand]

I'll take good care of you, promise.

[ And Raven squeezes his hand, her smile soft and bright. ]

Are you going to glare at anyone who tries to disturb us?

[athru]

Of course I am. I do have a security augment. I think it fits the job description.

[beathach]

I didn't know that was apart of the job.

[athru]

I decided to add to the job description.

Well, we could always lock the door, too.

That works, but it makes me seem less cool.
