[ There's a bit of movement as the feed comes on, and there's a flash of orange and a quiet 'meow' before Hermione actually gets the camera to focus on her - and she's smiling, a little shy but still there. She might have been used to making broadcasts in the Drabwurld, but things feel a little bit different here on the fleet - and a lot more public. ]

Hi. So, my name is Hermione Granger, for anyone that doesn't know, and I was hoping to start a sort of... Greenhouse, for all of us to use, for herbs and plants for the labs. I just wanted to see if anyone had anything that they wanted to grow there?

[ She stands up, moving to one side before she turns the feed, pointing it down at her desk where there's an odd assortment of seeds organised into little pots, all with neat labels and ordered into fewest to most, for those that care. There's a garden there already, but having one entirely dedicated to herbology might be useful. ]

I have a handful already, and I think I can handle setting things up with a bit of transfiguration, but if anyone had some ideas or wanted to help I'd be more than happy to listen. It won't be on the Vanquish, of course, but somewhere on the Iskaulit for anyone to use... Eventually. I'm not entirely sure how long this sort of thing might take to set up, honestly. I'm hoping to build a little potions room, too, if anyone's magical like me.

[ ... At least she has dirt, literally, from the planet? ]

Yeah? If they do that would be great! Or well, any flowers really. There, ah, weren't a whole lot where I'm from and I like seeing all the different types on the planets we visit.

I'll have a look for you, if you'd like? I can send you photos of anything I see that might spark your interest.

Sure! Although, I admit I'd be pretty happy to see any flower. What few I have seen have been very beautiful.

Did you get a look around the planet? There were some really pretty ones there - I wish I'd brought some back...

Between the ocean and the forest that last place had? I was hardly on our ship at all. In fact spent most nights out in the trees.

I don't blame you at all. The forest was beautiful - it reminded me of home.

Yeah? We have nothing like that where I'm from. Your world must be very beautiful.

I would show you, if I could. There was a huge forest south of the Court I lived in, and vast plains to the north. Everything about it was incredible.

Sounds amazing. My world looked the same everywhere. It was rather boring. I have to admit, I'm a little jealous of all these beautiful worlds I hear about now and then.

Well, at least we get to stop at beautiful planets here?

It's one of the good things about this fleet. We may be here against our will, but at least we get to see a lot of interesting sites.

At least we get to see some amazing things - and there's no warfare. That's something I'm glad for.

Yeah, I can't think of any planets we've visited so far that hasn't been welcoming! It's nice to know people in space are really nice!

Even the poisoned moon was welcoming, considering it was... Well, a poisoned moon. [ She wrinkles her nose. ] I'd like to stay hopeful, but I'm sure we'll end up encountering a planet that doesn't want much to do with us eventually.

I dunoo. I'm going to stay positive and hope that all the planets are as welcoming as the ones we've seen.

That's probably for the best. If we expect the worst then it'll end up happening. I can't imagine the Atroma putting us through any kind of real trouble - it wouldn't be that interesting to watch.

[The thought briefly enters his mind that the ratings may actually go up if there's a chance of a favorite being killed, but he decides to keep that thought to himself.]

Yeah. Me either. I just can't see any value in it for them.

[ Hermione hopes the threat of death is just one thing that might be a little too far... ]

Getting rid of us won't do them any good either, so... At least we're safe, for the most part.

Yeah, can't have a show without any actors, right?

Exactly. It gives us some protection from... Some things, I hope.

Hopefully most things.

[But onto happier topics.]
