text. he sells seashells by the seashore
Who: Max and you!
Broadcast: Text
Action: Starstruck, Iskaulit bar
When: After deploying from the planeeet.
Note: If you have something you wanna do with Max that isn't re: this post, we can do a wildcard thing!
[Max has been relatively quiet since their stay on the planet. Maybe it's the whole hugging business leaving him even more vocal than before — maybe it's the fact that he had to shoot someone, which is kind of a reason to lay low. But hey, Max has stuff he can trade off, and he's not about to lose the opportunity just because he's an asocial hot mess. A text goes out, simple enough:]
got a lot of seashells in good shape. will trade them for scraps. metal. weapon parts, auto parts, anything else you have.
might use them for explosives later otherwise. good for shrapnel.
[........ That's normal, right, making bombs. Bombs are very useful, guys. Um. Hrm.]
they look
nice.
[That means pretty, in restless Australian scavenger code. Attached is a photo. See.]
[One can find him on the Starstruck, pilfering through them to see which ones survived the trip back into space without incident.
Yeah, go ahead and imagine him on a beach collecting shells. It's embarrassing but it's true.
He's gonna be stopping by the bar, mostly to maybe offer Nami some. Maybe. He's not sure. Look, he already gave her something for her birthday, okay? If he keeps giving people stuff, he's gonna end up looking like a semi-decent dude, and we can't have that, can we. He can be found at the bar with a bag of aquatic-related goodies, his old dog Rock laying down near his feet. He's got an old conch in his hand that he's studying curiously before placing up against his ear. He almost looks kind of relaxed by it. Shockingly.]

[He's thoughtful, and... clearly imagining horrible scenarios spawned from this power.
Like splatting bodies.]
F'you don't know how to control it.

[Thinking back, an awful lot's happened in such a short span... geez.]

Seems like... not enough time.
[Do I need to avoid any potential gravity problems in the near future.]

[Dude she'd be back in school if she could.]

NEVER.
But he huffs through his nose.]
Should find someone here who can help. With training.
[So I don't have to deal with my concerns.]

[And that's only because she'd chosen it...]
Do you know anyone for that?

Depends on what you're looking for. My skillset's guns.
For, uh... magic... Guess you should broadcast a request.
See who responds.

[Food for thought. She'll have to consider her options later.]
