[ after the incident which involved steve rogers, a misunderstanding regarding technology and some ( very flattering ) photos of one Peggy Carter, Steve tried to avoid addressing the entire network regarding anything less than a security threat.

And then today happened.

The video opens up to the Starstruck though the ship looks drastically different due to the large number of red, white and blue balloons and confetti that seems to be everywhere. To make matters weirder, there seems to be a rather big cake reading 'Happy 1776th birthday, your Highness' and a song that seems to be playing every few minutes and rather loudly.

And in the middle of it all, there sits Steve Rogers himself and his smile is absolutely long suffering. He looks up and waits for the song to end before speaking rather hurriedly, mostly since he's worried it'll start over. ]

And more importantly to Pinkie Pie who dedicated her time and effort to doing all of this. It's - very kind of you. Can't say I've ever had that much done for my birthday before.

[Oh. Maybe she would reconsider her stance about Pinkie... the way he seems so touched by it was endearing. Truly, she'd never had extravagant parties either. Her brother couldn't even afford a cake and he'd only ever used the day to remind her that she'd killed their mother.]

She does make things a bit brighter in the fleet by doing things like that, I'll admit.

We all need that, I think. brightness. We may all be trapped here but having friends like Pinkie Pie proves that the Atroma cannot tear us apart.

[ strength is always found in unison, it's something Steve has never changed his mind about.

I agree. Alliances are important, no matter how we come to find them. We're better suited to bringing one another together than apart.

I am Daenerys, but as I understand it my name can be a mouthful so Dany is perfectly fine.

[So many others had come to call her her such, or Captain, if you were aboard the Caprine.]

Daenerys. That's not too much of a mouthful. It's pretty.

[ Not a name you hear every day, to be sure. ]

Does it mean something in your language?

No, not that I am aware. Only that it was a namesake of one of my Ancestors, a Queen of great beauty who married into another noble house to unify them and from there I do not know much of her.

[It vexed her, honestly. She'd never had a maester to tell her these things and Viserys was not the best teacher unless it came to stories of what a great warrior their elder brother was.]

Sounds like she was quite the lady.

[ a queen ancestor - he has yet to meet the royalty of the fleet. She looks young. It's a bit exciting, meeting someone descended from a queen but at the same time, if she holds the same position, it must be a heavy burden ]

It's a good namesake.

I can only hope, as I share her name. I was told her husband built a great sprawling garden in an attempt to make her feel at home. In turn she allowed children - noble or lowborn - to play in the pools of water that were added to it. The climate there was very warm and it was a way for them to keep cool.

[She wished she could have visited Dorne, and yet it was not meant to happen now, it seemed.]

It was good of her to do. I bet it made their day.

[ it's a good role model as any. power is always a problematic concept; those who can remain humble faced with it are always the better leaders, the one who see the people and not their own strength. ]

Being invited like that by a queen - not a chance most people get.
