so here's the thing, fellow people stuck here: i find myself in a precarious position. let me elaborate

1. i am totally not down for getting involved in this competition between factions because this is a. bullshit and b. probably not going to end well, but

2. i also want some of their cool stuff. this would be fine except i would have to pay way more for any of these things because i refuse to pick a side (which is STUPID i'm just saying)

so here's where you come in, because i have some credits laying around. i will totally trade you for books & medical supplies & possibly a small weapon if you're part of a faction that gets a discount on that shit or whatever

Sure! I got myself some new clothes, too. I was starting to feel like the red was a bit too bright considering all the hunting I do these days, every time we're on a planet.

i think all the names are equally stupid

"Spirit" isn't so bad but "Moxie" is DEFINITELY stupid. Like come on. Who's in charge of the naming decisions around here?

idk everyone i've seen from moxie seems completely ridiculous so i think it's at least fitting

Three knives, a blaster, and a handful of beam swords. They don't actually do much though.

what's a beam sword

A wannabe lightsaber. A sword that looks identical to a lightsaber but doesn't actually cut anything. Just looks intimidating and burns stuff. It's good for practice, though, since the weight and feel is identical.

next question, why do you have so much

The first knife and the blaster I bought for myself. The second two knives were gifts.

The beam swords are just ways to keep busy. I build them from scratch out of scrap instead of buying them. It gives me something to do when we have down time.

It was for hunting initially, yes. When we were on the snow and ice planet.

Well, it's pretty easy, really. First you-- [inset a super long winded and extremely technical explanation here full of sci-fi tech jargon] and then you're done!

snow and ice planet? must've been before my time

right... easy

It was super cold all the time. I had to get a snow parka, and then none of the hoods would fit over my head-- you know, with the horns and all-- so I had to get one tailored... talk about a hassle...

But it was worth it. The planet itself was beautiful.

Not really. There were tons of locals to talk to, and temples, and we could ice skate... I'd never been ice skating before!

really? hadn't you been to like dozens of planets back in your home too? not one of them had ice skating?
