[text.] gdit furiosa stop yelling at mountains
Who: Max Rockatansky
Broadcast: Fleetwide
Action: N/A unless iyou got something in particular in mind! :)
When: RECENTLY OKAY! After this goes down.
[Darn it, Furiosa, don't go yelling in the mountains, huh? Max would use voice or video, but the winds up here are howling and he'd really play the more logical route, in that case. So cue the weirdly-calm-panicked click-clack typing. He's really getting used to shit going horribly wrong around him; though at least this time it's not his fault, okay? He's just eternally cursed and you shouldn't make mistakes around him.
Because then avalanches happen. And you get caught up in them.
He's pretty lucky to have had a tree to hold onto, until the damn thing passed. He's cold as hell, but he's not in danger; that's Furiosa, so with that in mind:]
need assistance
friend's missing, lost in mountains - avalanche. not sure if she was swept up in it or not. known as captain furiosa, about 5'9", short-cut hair, prosthetic arm, scowls only half the time. been traveling together for last few weeks managing different jobs, recently crossing mountain terrain.
got separated from her and have been on the look out.
nothing yet, except a jacket.
can send coordinates.
can pay, too.
not a lot of time, snow's bad on the body. not good.

no subject
can I borrow the jacket
[Of course that might be taken entirely the wrong way.]
no subject
long as you give it back to her
she probably could use it right about now
[WHO ME WORRIED NEVER I NEVER WORRY ABOUT NOTHING EVER I DON'T CARE ENOUGH TO WORRY NOT ME NOT OL' NON-WORRY MAX ROCKATANSKY HAHAHA.]
no subject
I'm sure it's too big for me anyway
and smelly
where did you see her last
no subject
But he's a worried, loyal, dad-jerk.]
mountainside, lots of snow, lots of trees.
you know how to read coordinates??
no subject
[Look, read and understand are two different things. She bites her lip. Aren't there multiple places he could be? She'll ask someone for directions, it's fine.]
what are they?
no subject
if you can't read maps, might need someone to help you.
[You're a kid, but Max puts more faith in kids to learn things quick.
Kids are very, very capable.]
no subject
what are the coordinates
no subject
... Ah, right. Child.]
be careful
text;
send me coordinates
text;
know any magic tracking?
text;
some, doesn't always work but i'll give it a go when i get there
are you alright?
text;
mfine, it barely hit me
just cold, little tired, but nothing new.
more worried about the captain.
[As in, he's got her name as a blaring panic alarm in his dome.]
text;
[he doesn't seem the type to accept certainties easily like that but she sends it all the same]
this was not how i intended to give you a demonstration you know
text
close friend
[It's weird to write that, but he doesn't... have the time or patience for being modest about his friendships now. Even if they freak him out. Right now, her health and safety kind of overrides all that.]
no better time than to help someone.
text
[usually there would be teasing of some kind, some sort of off-hand comment, but for once she keeps it to herself]
i suppose so
been in an avalanche before. they're not fun
text
advice???
[He usually hates asking, but.
Sometimes he has exceptions.]
text
cousin told me after that if it happens again to stay calm, try to make it so you can breathe, fire magic is bad
pretty much sit and wait until you are found, because the snow hardens like rock

terse: ] Max. Situation report, please.

still looking for furiosa. might have been carried further, avalanche went down pretty far.
she made a loud noise. couldnt stop it. dont think she realized.
i wouldnt have before the ice planet.
[He'd did a lot of reading after nearly freezing in a lake, okay.
... He's so worried, Peggy. :(]

text »
land-based might work, but worried about driving over her by accident
[Even if it's likely she wouldn't last long under the snow...
It's easier to resuscitate someone when their bones and guts aren't smashed.]

time is even more critical when its this cold.

Text
alive
[As long as they can get her out of there, they can deal with any sickness or injury.
Just.
Don't die.]
Text
Text;
I don't need paying for that. She's my friend, I want to make sure she's okay.
Text;
Fuck it.]
good that she has friends.
the more eyes, the better.
Text;
Of course, she's a great person.
That's what I was thinking.
