action; open to anyone on the ship??
it doesn't matter where Coil started out on the ship--he's rattling up into the air shafts two and a half seconds later regardless.
and whether or not anyone else on the ship heard Zhas' original message, they might have young necromancer suddenly dropping down from a vent in the ceiling near wherever they are, while he's hunting!]
Murder buddies!!
She still only has her knife, which is annoying. She needs to con her way into Malum and buy some decent swords. But these are assassins, not dragons. She's got magic to give her an advantage against them. That and she looks short and generally harmless. Which she is only one of those in reality.
She's also stalking the uninvited guests when Coil drops from the ceiling. She doesn't say anything out loud, just waves at him and signs:Assassins? and points at him. Is he hunting too?]
text; like waaay too late
welp
two minutes is over

handle cleanup.
Text, later. After making a mess.
we are why this ship can't have nice things
you think you can manage looking for tiny parts? some of them have really specific size reqs.
[it's not that he thinks she's stupid or anything, he's just concerned he'd be sending a medieval person out to find the equivalent of hard drive components.]
If they want nice things, they can move to the Bishop
I'm pretty good at finding proverbial needless in haystacks. And I have some resources I can tap.
[Arthur. She can ask Arthur. But she's not going to tell Zhas that. She knows those two are on rocky ground.]

what kinds of swords?

I'll cover the overages.
[Because she expects hers is going to be more expensive than his.]

[somehow, it had not occurred to him. he also doubts that hers will cost nearly as much as his--goes to show how much HE knows about good swords.]

[heeeey, so his "says three words at a time" thing is still going strong.]
voice;
[Hey, Zhas, have an angry criminal.]
voice;
I have faith. Not an issue.
voice;
[He might be in the minority with this crew...]
voice;
[obviously. Coil and Sye, though, he's pretty sure they can handle themselves. and those two absurdly tall brothers. and the weird ninja lady that supposedly lives here.
he's still using that same monotone as always when he asks (?):]
Who said anything about killing.
voice;
I assumed.
[You can't see it, but he's narrowing his eyes. He sounds suspicious, though.]
You don't want to kill them?
voice;
[though a moment later, he does make a small, gruff little noise as it occurs to him that he should probably text... Coil... about that rule...]
voice;
Why do you specify 'humans?'
[Because for Arthur, it's humans and animals, nothing else.]
voice;
so, a point in Arthur's favor. who'd have known. he's quiet for a minute, but only because he hates actually asking this question out loud to other people.]
Do you know what vampires are.
voice;
voice;
[he should probably add, "where I'm from" in there somewhere, but he doesn't really believe that. he knows better than anyone that just because people don't think they're there doesn't mean that they don't exist.]
That is what I hunt. Not humans.
